Premier League Relegation

by rhroyal » 09 Apr 2011 13:33

Who else would be delighted if the current bottom 3 go down?

Wigan - Smaller, shitter more plastic club than us. Saying a lot. Barely 15k in the Premiership.

West Ham - I live in Essex and their fans are a load of cocky twats. They stole Pardew, cheater with the Tevez affair. Can't play by the rules? Nobody will cry when it catches up with you.

Wolves - Coins and bottles of piss not quickly forgotten. Horrendous fans, utterly boring team (something I forgot to mention with Wigan by the way). Stephen Hunt plays for them. It would be a shame for Doyle, but he'll get a move. 3-0 before half time. Great!

If these 3 go down I'll be very happy. Others I wouldn't mind seeing are Birmingham, just out of bitterness really. Don't like to see them doing well when we'd have taken their place in 2009 if we were half decent. West Brom would deserve it for their sacking of Di Matteo. Villa would be hilarious.

The rest I'd prefer to see stay up. Unfortunately Blackpool look very likely to go down. They have the support of most neutrals though it seems, just for having the balls to go up and attack.

Blackpool have 3 home games in a row coming up against Wigan,Newcastle & Stoke - 3 teams they beat away - if they don't pick up at least 2 wins there they will go down IMHO.

Doyle hasn't pulled up any trees since he left us. Hunt relegates everyone he plays for in the Premiership. Happy to see them come down, especially after their ridiculous plans to make their grown a 50,000 aLOL seater. Idiots.

Wolves 0 - 3 Everton (FT)

15 Birmingham 31 - 35
16 Aston ViLOLa 31 - 34
17 Blackpool 31 - 33

Can't see more than one of the relegation zone incumbents managing to scramble to safety now. Not sure who I'd rather stay up out of that lot - I'm torn between wanting to see Wiggin falling back down to their natural home of the 4th and 5th tiers and hoping to maintain the thrill of the Meat Pie Derby, Bolton's traditional day of abject underachievement. For no good reason, I have a soft spot for West Ham - this has only been increased by the acquisition of Hitzlsperger. Looking forward to Blackpool's collapse reaching its increasingly inevitable conclusion, though. Still a nasty little club from an abject town, with a tw@ of a manager and a truly horrible dynasty of owners.

Lehman is in goal. There might be a lifeline for Blackpool.

The lesser of two evils.

Reckon it's Wigan, Wolves and Blackpool for the drop. I can see West Ham getting out of it and do not believe that Villa And Brum are under any real threat.

Yep I'd agree with this. West Ham going down would be good for me personally as well for a London away game (should Reading fail to get promoted). All the 'W' teams it is then.

can't remember a season where with 4 games to go the team who are bottom are one win away from not even being in the relegaton zone.

from looking at the fixtures I feel that Blackpool are doomed. Would have a punt on Wigan too but there are still games to be played between teams in the bottom 5

I watched the highlights of Blackpool v Wigan a couple of weeks ago and i'm sorry but some of their defending was so bad I just can't take the PL seriously if they stay in it.

Not being a h8er, just think they've blown it.
