Team news
Reading (4-4-2): McCarthy; Griffin, Harte, Mills (c), Khizanishvili; Karacan, Leigertwood, Kebe, McAnuff; Long, Manset.
Subs: Federici, Pearce, Tabb, Robson-Kanu, Antonio, Church, Hunt.

Scunthorpe (4-4-2): Murphy, Nelson (c), Mirfin, Gordon, Togwell, O'Connor, Hughes, Nunez, Duffy, Dagnall, Garner.
Suns: Lillis, Godden, Collins, Nolan, Raynes, Wright, Miller.

Ref: A Woolmer

Mills back, Pearce on bench, Ivar dropped entirely, as is Howard. Seems harsh on Howard to have HRK & Antonio in ahead of him. He offers something different to all the others. But then I guess it would probably not be an attacking enough sub to bring him on for Jem, if we need to go more attacking.

May seem harsh on Ivar but we need more pace at the back and Kish shouldn't be displaced. So I'm happy with Mills coming in.

Liking the starting 11.

All i know is with Mathieu starting, anything could happen - even a Simon Church goal! (that's actually his). In all seriousness, very happy to see Manset in the team again - shows promise, we just need to feed him as much as we did past the hour mark at Forest but from the start otherwise he'll be knackered!

LOL @ the BBC:

Reading defender Alex Pearce is fit after a thigh injury, while Simon Church is pushing for a starting place.

But captain Matt Mills (groin) and forward Noel Hunt (foot) are both out.

I don't like it, I can just feel we're over confident. Please keep the expectations down people.

Rather get a slap in the face against Scunny now, than against Sheffield or Coventry or more importantly Leicester or Leeds.

David Moyes at the ground watching the game tonight. I'm assuming that's him after one of our lot? I'm thinking Shane Long, maybe Kebe or more than likely Simon Church! :?

Nice exclusive for you all... not. Alex McCarthy will wear the green goalkeeper shirt instead of the normal purple. Woah!

Being saying this all day, getting ready to lol at a few people on the prediction thread if things go pear shaped tonight. I'm of course hoping they don't and would LOVE to be wrong.
