Who do you want to be the hero?

by Maguire » 13 Apr 2011 16:40

Quinn, Cureton, Doyle - all have written their name into RFC history.

If you could choose which player got to score the goal that seals promotion for us this season, who would you choose?

Personally i'm torn between Ian Harte blasting a free-kick over the wall, and Matthieu Manset sliding in at the back post to nudge one over the line with his dick.

We need one goal to do it, and in the final minute Bryn Gunnarsson scores a Figueroa from the half way line in his last appearance for the club.

Ivar. Can't see him getting a new contract, especially if we go up so it would be a fitting send off for one of ours best ever defenders.

Those saying Mathieu should play with more width haven't been paying close enough attention.

a towering tabb header

or cummings taking the ball the length of the pitch , around the whole derby team, before stroking it calmly into the net

kebe to slide in at the far post like gazza in the world cup, but, because of his extra lanky legs, actually connect with the ball and score

Zurab, Bryn, Ingi or Griffin. Or is that too much to ask?

It has to be Bryn or Ivar. 2 legends, both with their time at the club likely to end soon. It would be a perfect ending to their Reading career.

I'm fairly sure that if it all works out I'll be more than happy to listen to some of his accordion hits after Derby
