Anyone any idea on how many have been sold? I imagine results going our way today will mean a surge in ticket sales! Best dig out the inflatables! :)

Just purchased my ticket, and the club said just shy of 3,000 had been sold so far.

I doubt many more will be sold this week after that woeful effort over the weekend so plenty of spare seats around for those with crap seats like me.

If the allocation is 4,000 there should be plenty of room to head to the back and stand.

What are the Cov stewards like?

I have been to Ricoh three times and found the stewards ok, helpful in directing you towards your seat or explaining its unreserved seating and generally leaving you to watch the game. I think their main issues at the Ricoh are with the little Cov chavs who sit/stand by their big screen to the right of the away end.

I don't think the stewards particularly keen on people hanging around the concourse areas drinking beer while the game is in progress and like everywhere else if you give stewards a bit of lip the orange jacketed snatch squad will appear to help you on your way out of the ground.

Disagreed. Spent the entire game up there last season in the concourse drinking whilst watching the game on the TV's. Didn't go into the "arena" once. Stewards were good as gold AND the bar carried on serving.

They also didn't kick me out when I fell asleep in the ground the year before.

My wife just had a phone call from the club informing her that she has won the competition to win two free tickets to the match and an overnight stay in the hotel at the Ricoh Arena. Just to need to wait for Coventry FC to phone her now to confirm the details........ :D

Exactly - 30 Reading fans stood in the concourse two years ago watching the grand national on the box and happily drinking away during the second half.
