philMRawlie19 Wow. That's only taken me 23 hours to read fully through 32 pages...
I can't wait until the announcement is made and I can start ranting and raving properly about the ineptitude of the FA/FL (whichever it is that's making the decision, I've lost track). To throw my 2 penneth worth in now though, I don't care how well they would have done had they not had him, they SEEM on the face of it to have been thoroughly devious in a number of different ways regarding not only this transfer but many going back a number of years and the book should be thrown at them if found guilty. Not 100% confident in the FA/FL to do so though, but I have put £5 on Reading to win the Championship with BetFair, netting me £695 if we pull it off.
A few days ago I put £10 on RFC winning the league at 80/1 with bet365. But I think it's a lost cause.
I also have £10 on Cardiff, Swansea and Norwich at silly odds. The bookies seem pretty sure it isn't going to happen.
I'm not normally a gambling man, but in the summer I opened a BetFair account with £30 just to make games that I'm watching on Sky a little more interesting to me by putting a bet on. Normally ranging from between £2 and £5. I planned to lose no more than £30 in a month and would top it up each month if I did lose the lot, but only at the beginning of a month and if it needed it. During the World Cup Final I got down to my last £5 and 10 minutes before the end of the 120 minutes, while still at 0-0, I put the remaining £5 on a 1-0 Spain win. Since then I haven't had to add anything to the pot, and actually, having been in Nepal for 3 months from the beginning of January, haven't had a bet since Christmas. I put £5 e/w on Oscar Time and £5 e/w on State Of Play in the National, which got me a pretty penny for 2nd and 4th, and then on the Sunday of the Masters, before play began I put £5 on Schwartzel to win. I now have £180 in the pot, all stemming from that £5 on the World Cup Final. If I could turn that into £1000 I'd be a fairly happy chappy Come on FA/FL, you know it makes sense!
