So looks like the play offs for us then and that 4th place is ours to lose.

The way things are going at the moment looks like we're going to be facing Swansea City over two legs.

Personally hope we can get third place but just can't see Cardiff dropping enough points and given Norwich can't possibly be bad enough to screw up their two remaining home games, or the trip to Portsmouth - who gave up long ago - then I don't think things are going to change at all.

This being the case I expect Cardiff to await the winners of our leg at Wembley.......

Of course if the FL have the bottle to take points off QPR then things should change considerably.

Not sure what to think about Swansea. Not in great form going into the play-offs and we have what it takes to beat them. However their 2 results against us this season will have them confident and we'd have the first leg at their place, which is a tough place to go.

I think Cardiff could lose at Burnley, and 3rd place would be a big deal as whichever team snatches 6th look like they'll be the weakest team in the play-offs to me (although to say easy pickings is too far).

Pompey did us a solid today

Fantastic result for Burnley draws 'em level with Forest and Leeds

Meanwhile, disaster for Hull

Now up to Millwall to take the max from Preston and keep their own bid in play

We need Pompey to do a "solid" against the carrot crunchers as well. Fine use of the English Language btw Chi.

Prefer Preston to win so they are up for the game against Cardiff!

Shades of 95 then against Tranmere. They comfortably beat us home and away in the league but we entered the playoffs in excellent form and took them to the cleaners.

If we get Swansea in the play-offs - we have GOT to beat them - I think I'll self-combust if I see that egotistical Rodgers pumping the air and delighting in it all.

Still in the auto race IMO, tomorrow will be massive though.

If Derby play like they did at QPR can defo see them getting a point tomorrow, and Caridiff could slip up against PNE.

Way too optimistic I know

Looks like the dreaded Playoffs now. A decent effort by the team, but the charge came a little too late to threaten Cardiff and Norwich.

Must admit I am not confident, 4 attempts and never won them, in fact it appears every team we have lost to in the Playoffs have gone on to get promoted. Can't help thinking our bubble may have burst and we will hit a bad patch of form at the worst possible time. But looking on brightside, we might get a nice day out at Wembley.

On the other hand we needed to win all those games on the trot to have a chance to go up.

Funny we talk about a charge (understandable given these wins)
but overall we are the second team in this league over the last
40 games, with just that LDD start holding us back.

I'm actually glad to be almost out of the race for 2nd place.

I always think the team that just misses out on autopro feels dejected and messes up and the team who are happy to have made a great run to be in the playoffs do well. Dont know if this is based on stats or wishful thinking but I weakly believe that.

So to be almost out of the autopro race now means we can not live in cloud cuckoo land, not be disappointed with missing out and can be quite happy to be in te playoffs and focus on winning them :)

It's Gylfi's fault we aren't in auto *

1.25 ppg first four games, 1.74 ppg since

* Not true. We are third (clear of Cardiff) in the table since Gylfi left.

With a four point gap below us, and a five point gap above Swansea, it's pretty certain we'll be playing Swansea, just need to determine whether we have the home leg last advantage..

Wish we'd lost and drawn a game during the 8 game winning streak and won this last two. Or even just lost a game in it and beaten Sheff. We're heading into limping into the end of the season territory now
