Hoop Blah Still a little dejected and a No for now.

Will I fold and renew out of habit at some point in the near future? Quite possibly!

I'll give it four hours.

Schards has renewed ours - but only because we want to sit with his dad and brother - and his brother had already renewed. And we like our seats. But we hate the people behind us. Especially "wakey wakey" woman - who Russell Street and Rouge have had the pleasure of also hearing.

brendywendy Sorted.

ticket office update, hot off the presses:
3 booths open, steady stream of people coming through the door, constant queue of about 3 people

I renewed yesterday and was so convinced that I was stood behind you in the queue I very nearly said "Afternoon you drug addled cunter." for the roflz.

On reflection, and in light of your post above, I'm now glad I resisted the urge to do this.

How exciting. You were wearing a stripy jumper?

I was the handsome gentleman behind you in the blue polo and beige cords. Basically the only person in there who didn't look like a child molester.*

*Edit: Except Ian Huntley, obviously.

This has to be the most exciting news since I found out who Tredder was at Wycombe away.

Aside from Hoop Blah, anyone else follow through with their threats not to renew after "being held to ransom?"

Still a movers day to come, so anyone that is unhappy with near neighbours could move, should be a load of good seats available.

"held to ransom" puts it way too strongly.

I am irritated by being given a deadline in order to make a purchase of something that I have been a regular purchaser of ever since the stadium opened, and before that, the "Network Southeast" enclosure.
Quite simply, I am a regular customer; and the club know that.

Granted, they have put a small fiscal carrott in there to incentivise the purchase.
However, I am not the kind of person who buys eleven sacks of potatoes at a time, on the offchance that they might be more expensive in a few weeks' time.
I spend what I want, when I want to, because it's my money, my choice, and I am exercising that perogative.

No fiscal carrots at all. A financial one yes, but not fiscal.

It seems the club got what they wanted.

QUOTE TAKEN FROM RFC OS:" The renewal deadline passed at 5pm on Thursday evening, and the number of fans playing their part is up more than 5% on this stage last season, with in excess of 10,200 supporters already signed up for 2011/12."

10K renewals is good news, but surely the extra 250 renewals is due to us being in the playoffs and the chance of prem footie for the same price, rather than their great idea of renewing early.

Also they don't seem to be very good at working out a percentage, I make it 2.5%.

But we don't know how many had renewed "at this stage last season" which is what the percentage increase is calculated on - not the final renewal total.
