Badger Finger You have to do things your own way don't you!

I do it the way I consider the best way.

The DropBox way takes one email (very hard work) but allows people
to view SUBSEQUENT photographs automatically whenever I, or any other
"collaborator" uploads to the shared folder. It's like having a folder
on your computer, iPhone, iPad, even though it was created by me

Facebook pictures are crap and I don't want people knowing all my business via FB.

Flickr is fine, but again I don't want randoms accessing my account.

Posting here is low quality, but if SOMEONE ELSE wants to do it, fine.

Badger Finger
I'm sure the pictures will be great, but I'm not doing the whole laborious thing on my phone...

Your prerogative. Looking at the photographs is not compulsory

Snowball
Bandini Why don't you post a couple of your favourites, Snowball?

As I have said, and posted about it a few times...

I am able to post pictures in AE, but have never managed it here on the team board.

A lot of the pictures are close-ups of individuals, pairs, threes, and for all I know
none of them may be HobNobbers.

If someone chooses to post them, they can. Just remember if they reach a newspaper or the programme, where the copyright lies

Just use an imagehosting site like imageshack and then post the pic in the [img]picture%20url[/img] tags. I'm not having a go, just a suggestion to brighten up the thread, and to show off any of which you are particularly proud.

So what happens if we email you? Do you email us back with the map showing us where the box with the photos in is buried?

Snowball,

Is there a way of uploading this file onto the iPad so that I can browse through the photo's, rather than keep having to go back to the top of the page after every time I view one?

DropBox allows me to invite people to "collaborate" and view a folder
in my web space. They can also post their own RFC photos there etc.

You invite by email, that's all.

A couple of dozen people have managed to do it, without difficulty.

If in the future, I take more pictures. I just add them and they automatically "appear" on the machines of those who have installed it.

(It's not actually on those machines, but on a web portal. It's a very neat way to share-files, but all those who install DropBox
and are sharing my Reading FC folder will be synchronised.)

You can install Drop-Box itself on your iPad, and click favourites to "permanently" download them to the iPad.

Then delete or "remove from favourites" the ones you don't want to keep.

I get it, just wondering if you got my email?

I photographed most of the promotion season and first premier league season and wouldn't mind dumping some of the images in there. They were all shot on a shitty 4mp bridge camera so are a mixed bag, but probably worth sharing again?

Not sure. I've responded to all emails received, so my guess is "No"

(send again?)

I've created a folder called WinchPiks inside the Reading FC folder,
so if you want to post photos, when you have DropBox, stick yours in there.

Best to keep photos by individuals in separate folders

Just to explain a bit more.

I took some close ups of individuals, pairs, threes, small groups

plus a load of (boring) larger-spread crowd shots to try and get virtually everybody who
was there in the away end. One reason for using Drop Box is so you can download a picture
at highest-possible resolution, and then blow up "your" section (if you're that sad like me)

I overlapped the shots

Why are you naming people on here? Don't you respect anonymity any more?

Because the 3 I've named have already submitted pics to the collage in the past and if they don't like me naming them, they only have to say. Thanks for your interest though.
