Silver Fox
Seal And I guess this was Mourinho's fault as well. Who was sent off after this?

Has anyone said what started that? There was a wee man with his hands round the Barca sub goalie's throat at one point, I'm guessing he was one of Jose's minions?

If Mourinho wanted his teams to play football then I guess he'd get a bit more leeway when both teams are acting like chumps

José Pinto was send off for slapping Arbeloa.

Only one team had a player send off for "acting like chumps".

Listen I understand Real aren't perfect and Mourinho is a bit of a pr1ck. Ok a lot of pr1ck. However, I've just got a bit tired of the Barcelona love in, and the attitude of defending their players' actions at all cost.

Yes they play superb football.
In Messi that have one of the greatest of all time.
In Xavi and Iniesta they have two of the greatest of a generation.
But they also have 3 utter C@nts in Pedro, Busquets and Alves. And there are far too many histrionics (whether or not Real do it too is irrelevant).

As a result I just can't warm to them any more. And I will be supporting, even cheering Utd in the final, which will be a first for me I think.

Well I will certainly be doing the same thing and will doubtless be screaming at the TV as a Barca player goes for the 6th rotation on a roll across the pitch after minimal contact has been made...

You clearly did not see the two most recent games between Real Madrid and Barcelona nor do you ever watch Man Utd where Nani has taken over where Ronaldo left off.

I saw what Pedro and Busquets got up to.....

At best you can say they are all as bad as each other - only a deluded idiot will try attempt to to give them some sort of hierarchy.

Silver Fox Why does everyone seem to think Pepe shouldn't have gone? The tackle was high and studs first into Alves' leg.

^^^^ This. People shouldn't believe Andy Townsend saying its not a red card. He's yet to learn a single rule change since he stopped playing and I 'm not convinced he had a full grasp of them then either.

Agree that it was studs first BUT he didn't actually touch Alves

This video has now been proved to be a load of shit. The Spanish station that broadcast that are massively anti-Barca and doctored the video, removing frames to make it look like there was minimal contact.

Looking at that clip a few things seem obvious to me. The Barca player clearly makes a meal of, if anything, minimal contact, However, the Real player does seem to make a secondary movement towards the Barca player with the studs showing after touching the ball away. If the referee sees that and interprets it as intent, then that is enough justification to show the red card.

Barca are diving again - this time its Mascherano.

BBC Sport Javier Mascherano just went to ground (and water) with a blatant dive. He won a free-kick too.

Didn't you see Di Maria earlier?
I wonder sometimes if some of you actually watch the game.

Well I never claim that Real are whiter than white - but many proclaim the purity of Barca. Do not assume because I make a point about one thing that I deny the existence of another.

Yes, of course Di Maria is a diving cnut - but everyone knows 'and says' that he is.

Didn't realise it's a free kick to Barcelona if you're fouled and fall at their feet...
