Svlad Cjelli But not for everyone, and a lot of people have them maxed out. Best part of £400 quid if you're taking a family to Wembley.

Thats your fault if you've got maxed out credit cards. Allows those of us who without a mountain of debt to buy a ticket.

Not my situation, I'm fine for tickets - but there are a lot of people it will apply to. We are in the middle of a credit-based recession.

Wasn't aimed at you, sorry I meant "one" rather than "you"

Spending beyond your means is the problem, as much as some people may want to go to Wembley if you cant afford it, you cant afford it. simple.

True, but it's all about planning - whcih is why some people might be missing out on the semi-final match to preserve money for the final.

Maybe we just don't have that many fans?

I'm skint, its in the middle of exam period, I live in Swansea and I have an interview on Saturday morning. I am therefore only going to the away match seeing as its only an hour up the road for me. Suprised we haven't sold out though, maybe people are like me and just can't make it for various reasons?

Two points to make.

Cardiff games -
Not everyone, even ST holders, can make Friday night (or midweek) games...due to work/personal commitments.
Although I have been bombarded with texts and mails from the club re the Cardiff games , I think the club have got the ticket
distribution fairly spot on this time. Having read through too many pages on Hobnob, it is clear that the club are never going to
please everyone. This time though, RFC have got it right. As a result, there will be a full house (or very close to a full house) on Friday night.

Possible Wembley trip -
The last post mentioned that maybe we don't have that many fans.
For anyone that went to Wembley in either 1988 (Simod Cup) and/or 1995 (playoff) then you will know that Reading have a lot of 'followers' who are eager to wade in for the big day out. No different from a lot of other clubs.
I already have a number of friends and work colleagues asking whether I would be able to get them a ticket if (when ?) we get to Wembley.
These are folks that hardly ever go....but would want to go to see Reading at Wembley.
Make no mistake, if we make our the allocation will sell out.

mr_number Obviously there are understandable exceptions, but we've had more fans at several other games this season than appear to be coming to this, which surprises me.

whilst the costs involved may be a factor it seems to me that the games where we have reached near capacity were ones where away fans (probably locally based) were buying seats in the home areas. That was certainly true of the Leeds game when I had a group in front of me even wearing Leeds hats & scarves. This time the club blocked off that possibility by not allowing new member card purchases and in any event I doubt if Cardiff have a local folowing as large as Leeds & Pompey for example.

Similarly our following in the Prem years was I think boosted by local people who were exiled Man U, Liverpool, etc fans but adopted Reading as their second team.

I expect all in the North and West will sell out, but a few still dotted about in the South come Friday night.

Not bad. Presuming there's no pay on the gate option?

Nothing been announced - the plan has been to not have any tickets left for sale on the day, I presume!

Not bad with a couple of days to go. I'd expect it to be a near sell-out. Be quite disappointing if it's not really, with it being a Friday night and all.

Away sales don't look that great at all, still over 400 left i think. Surely it'll sell out tomorrow for 1000 points and more?
