We didn't sell-out against Burnley but we have outsold that fixture already, but agree with the above. What we want more than a full house is a noisy bunch to drowned out that horrible lot.

It will be the only one of the four play off semis that won't sell out. Do the people of Reading want Premier league football?

Forest had 29,490 for their home game against Derby, only 27,881 last night. Capacity is 30,576.

Plenty of seats near the drummer, I wonder why that might be?

There was a sizeable chunk of empty seats in the Bridgford Road stand (the one with the away fans) last night.

Because no one's bought them.

Oh right, not because few people want to sit near the bloody banging?

Just a handful of RFC tickets remain for the away leg. 2000 sold, 50 left.....so will be sold out later today.

Can't focus on work today. Might have to nip out at lunchtime, visit a local hostelry, calm the nerves a bit !!

Selling out our away allocation before the first leg is marginally impressive.

I think our hard core away support is pretty good in terms of consistent numbers - just got a higher proportion than most clubs of fair weather "home" fans.

It will be nice to have a full stand unlike last time where we were a few hundred!
That said getting out of the car park will be bad, unless we win!!!

3,000 empty seats?

by floyd__streete » 13 May 2011 12:55

3,000 tickets were available at close of play last night. Diabolical! Do the people of Reading deserve a Premier League team? Of course not.

If we get to Wembley I am going to agressively approach each and every person I see inside and outside the ground that I don't recognise from past RFC games and demand that they justify their attendance, kinda like in The Inquisitor episode of Red Dwarf.

"Reading have always been my second team." - The worst and most frequent response you will receive.

1. This really didn't need a new thread

2. So what? Just go along and enjoy the game.

The commentater said it was a sell out.

On the plus side, at least we're not all at our desks in Wigan.

I'm actually pretty gutted about this. It seems 10 years of exciting football/end of seasons has delivered little..
