Man Friday Forest were terribly unlucky. Hit the woodwork 3 times, should have had a penalty (or two) and Swansea possibly should have had a player sent off.

Massive LOLZ.

We hit the back of the net 3 times 8) They didn't. It's the only stat that counts.

Borini hit the bar although it was going in without the deflection. Rangel should've scored. Pratley missed a sitter.

Nothing at all in any of those half hearted penalty claims. Who should've been sent off?!

Credit to Forest for the pressure they put on us in the second half but they had their chance when 10 v 11. Fully deserved win for us and the better side are going to west London.

Interesting that Rodgers sets the team up to play with 10 men in training.

Quote from BBC website

"Swansea moved a step closer to ending their 28-year top-flight exile after beating Nottingham Forest for a place in the Championship play-off final."

Makes it sound if they had spent a lot of time in the top division and have a right to be there. It was only 2-3 seasons at best wasn't it?

No Fixed Abode Andre Marriner is one of the shittest refs I've ever seen. Everytime I see him he misses obvious decisions.

Did nobody else think Forest should have had one if not two penaltles last night? This is the same Andre Marriner who denied Chelsea two stone wallers a couple of months ago.

Well done BR. He wasn't right for us unfortunately as we dont have the players or the patience of the fans to carry out what he was trying to do. However, If we get to the final....I hope we stuff them!!!!!

Agreed. Can't argue with facts. But Forest were very unlucky. Not sure best team over two legs won.

Shoot me down, but Welsh teams shouldn't be playing in the English leagues as it is, especially so when their fans don't know where Wembley is.

I've been saying for a while that it'll be an all-Welsh final and unfortunately I think that'll be the case. Pretty sad really when you consider the above.

They should get promoted to their own Premiership. Hope there's some good small print

Swansea look good, but last night really swung on a few key moments. Forest hit the woodwork at critical moments and should have had a penalty shortly after Earnshaw hit the post. As Swansea Jack said, they could have had more too.

However I feared at Swansea a lot before the play-offs; the truth is they cut it awfully fine last night and I imagine it will be equally fine margins whoever they get at Wembley. I'd feel like we'd have a decent chance against them, even if I can admit that they probably look a better team than us.

I thought Swansea were very fortunate last night. Over the two legs Forest had 3 strong penalty claims. Not sure what the point of giving pens for handball's all about if you don't give them for the Tate and Ashley Williams handballs over the two legs.
Don't get me wrong swansea jack I wanted your lot to win but they were very lucky.
I hate Billy Davies but fair play to him last night he took it on the chin when he had every reason to feel a bit cheated.

It is true on the penalty claims. Griffin was holding on to Chopra at that corner in the 1st half. Stone waller. And another debatable two on Olifinjana and another on Chopra. Surely you could have seen on your tv screen.

Been to new Wembley 4 times m8 - 3 to see Chelsea and the other the NFL game - Doplhins/Giants. (3 times at old Wembley - ZDS cup final, FA Cup final and Simod Cup final) If you want directions let me know.
