2 world wars, 1 world cup The paedo chant was a disgrace, yes.

But sometimes our boys do come up with classics.

Like when we chanted "Rufus is a dog's name" over and over and "Old McDonald had a farm" over and over and poor old Rufus was so affected he played pants and had to be substituted. When was that again? Oh it was the southbank, sorry.

WE ALL GET THE POINT. YOU STARTED SONGS BACK AT ELM PARK. WELL DONE.

There is no class or wit in that paedo chant and it reflects badly on the club.
There is little wit or class in a lot of the songs that are sung today.
I started songs in the South Bank too.

Those who think the objectors to disgraceful chants should avoid attending football matches are missing something quite important, that is, we think YOU shouldn't be allowed at football matches because your behaviour is totally unacceptable and we out number YOU. Just because football attracts people with very low standards of behaviour does not mean it should be tolerated. Reading FC does not want or need fans like you. The club policy is that of a family club. Check it out.

Indeed, well said.

I thought Dave Jones came across as a top man last night; he was very complimentary about our performance, but more impressively, interviewed on Sky at some length about the game and his disappointment he didn't ONCE mention Howard Webb. I thought Webb had a great game but could understand it if Cardiff fans felt a bit hard done by. I would suggest that every single PL manager, without exception, if interviewed after suffering such disappointment, would have brought up the fact that refereeing decisions didn't go their way, and probably said a lot worse.

It was also reported that he sent the champagne that had been kept on ice in Cardiff's dressing room into the Reading room.

Good guy.

+1 on this. He looked utterly devastated, probably knows he will get sacked but gave a dignified interview.
