66DD I've already thrown this season's ticket away following the Cardiff home match and as the ones for 2011/12 haven't been issued yet I may have a problem.

I don't understand why you would throw it away, my season ticket is the same physical card that I have had for 5 years, still says Barclays Premiership on it. They just activate it for each season when I pay.

I have heard they are issuing new St's. Something about defining the difference between a member card and ST.

LUX BTW I do have a Membercard, but not enough points (I expect)

There's nothing on the site saying that you require a certain number of points. If you have a member card then you'll be able to purchase tickets regardless of whether you have 5 points or 2,000 points.

I think the shortage of time between now and the final prevents the club from being able to stagger the release of tickets to members based on Royalty points.

More likely that Ticket zone aren't able to operate the points system.

Apparently we have 12,000 season ticket holders - so if they +1 it, thats 22,000 sold - 17,000 remain BUT we have way more than 17,000 members........could be some unhappy people come Monday

Don't worry, I know of 5 that won't be taken so make that 21995 tickets sold, potentially.

Surely if we have 12,000 STH'S and they all+1 it would be 24,000 sold!
Anyway I reckon all those that want tickets will get one...we might just might sell them all in the end.

11,054 current ST holders + 909 new ST holders for next season = 11,963 x 2 (assuming everyone buys one which is unlikely = 23,926) which leaves at least 15,000 for member sale.

Svlad Cjelli Finalised ticket details now on line. http://www.readingfc.co.uk/page/NewsDet ... 98,00.html

Explains how you can buy blocks together - also season ticket holders for this season AND nexct season can buy in the first sale period.

Read all that and ready to take my degree in the subject. Lengthly, but answered every question I had.

OS says ticketzone will despatch tickets special delivery for £1.75, that seems odd because special delivery letters normaly cost over a fiver..so I checked their site..it is RECORDED DELIVERY. not guaranteed delivery in any time scale and only trackable once a deliery has been attempted..and not insured ..basically all it is is a signture on delivery. so if your letter goes AWOL you are fooked.

OS actually says "registered post".

In any case, as the seats are pre-allocated, I'd imagine any that don't turn up by Saturday's post can be re-printed at the stadium before the game.

Going in for the cheap seats tomorrow through TicketZone who only have about 2,300 tickets in that price range. I'll be online at 9am so hopefully get em. URRZZZ

I'm only +1ing on 3 of 6 tickets.

We'll struggle to sell out at this rate.

Thinking I might go mental and go for cat 3.

Not sure whether to try and despatch my mum to the stadium, come back to do it myself or book on line. I resent the prospect of having to pay £3 to some shitty website just for the privilege of buying each ticket.

Another £3+ per ticket?!!

Don't know whether to go up to the stadium now... but then I won't be able to choose the block I want. Damn it! Decisions, decisions...
