Agreed re the extra £3 however most of us would have happily paid the "extra" if it was included in the ticket price. And at least its less than Swansea are paying:

Category 1 £98.00 / £49.00 concession** subject to booking fee £4.50 / £3.25 per ticket
Category 2 £76.00 / £38.00 concession** subject to booking fee £4.00 / £3.00 per ticket
Category 3 £64.00 / £32.00 concession** subject to booking fee £3.75 / £2.50 per ticket
Category 4 £52.00 / £26.00 concession** subject to booking fee £3.50 / £2.25 per ticket
Category 5 £36.00 / £18.00 concession** subject to booking fee £3.00 / £1.75 per ticket

Ian Royal Thinking I might go mental and go for cat 3.

Not sure whether to try and despatch my mum to the stadium, come back to do it myself or book on line. I resent the prospect of having to pay £3 to some shitty website just for the privilege of buying each ticket.

Got to be worth three or four quid to avoid this

This is a mummafudging nightmare, trying to sort out who wants to sit where and with who and who wants to buy the tickets etc.

Grand plans of circa 20mates sitting together in tatters :(

Perhaps its the principle rather than the cost. They are thieving barstards, as are all other organisations who indulge in this sharp practice of charging you significantly extra for merely undertaking the process of taking your cash off you. Cost of selling the tickets or any other product should be included in the price.

Fair play to RFC for trying (and getting some movement) but if people are buying a combination of full and concessions, there is very little difference at the mid range prices. Anyone buying one of the cheaper concessions actually ends up paying more.

PieEater Swansea fans are reporting the ticketzone site falling over most of the day and 5 hour queues at their ticket office but they are letting people buy a new ST at the same time! Credit to our TO for spotting this one and stop selling STs.

So much for the decision to use TicketZone because it can handle selling lots of tickets in a short space of time!!

TBM Its cos the postman has to pay to cross the bridge into Wales

Was told a great story about the army mechanised brigade going to carry out manuevers in Wales. They phoned up the company that runs the Bridge as a courtesy to let them know that a large military convoy of assorted tanks, jeeps, trucks etc were going to be crossing on their way to the manuevers on a certain day.

The person on the call asked for exact numbers and they told him, then asked to put on hold for a bit, cambe back and told them that'll be X thousands of pounds for the crossing. Army bloke tells them piss off we're teh British Army and they insist that they aren't crossing the river without paying.

The day comes around and the mechanised brigade rocks up to the bridge, pulls off just before it, drives down to the river, builds it's own bridge, goes across, removes the bridge and then carries on off on its merry way. Officer in charge refused to pay on principle and just wrote crossing the river into the exercise.

great story, but the severn crossing seems very large for a temp bridge.not that i know oxf*rd all about military engineering of course.

So, when you by tickets in person, I wonder if you can pick the actual block you want or will you just get what you're given in your requested category.

You get what you're given.

As per the OS and the ticket selling diagram I posted yesterday (halfway down page 7):

Any tickets bought at the stadium will be sold in an anticlockwise direction starting at the North end of our allocation.

Bloody confusing this whole thing. Think I'm going to go for three category four tickets. My dad is paying so lucky for him that he's 65 so his ticket will be half price.

Anyone else going for cat 4? Oh and is the 1.75 delivery price per batch or per ticket?

Probably per batch, but you never know...
I'm undecided as to where to sit. Might just go online, close my eyes, randomly click and hope for the best...
