What about 39,000 people all with tartan rugs over their knees and thermos flasks?

If I can't get a prawn sandwich at Wembley of all places, I'll certainly be kicking off in the concourse.

You can always go to the Chmapange & Oyster Bar on the Club Wembley level.

Yep, they are. And they can't stop you taking food in - but no bottles or cans will be allowed (even if they just have water or pop).

Libertine Silly me...I thought this was one of those rare times where grown people not only are allowed to behave like children but are expected to.

My mate I know over there is sending me a team jersey with #13 on the back. And if it arrives in time I will be wearing while watching the game and screaming at the tv set...and I am almost 50.

Don't know if I will be watching it with an inflatable sheep tho.

This. Except I have a real, live Oirish Wolfhound.

I'll also have my 5x4m Cross of St George with RFC 1871 Dubai Royals on it strung between the house and the traffic lights just to confuse the locals.

liamob
There is also no sane reason not to wear one

Sane, in that sense, means having or showing reason. So there is no need to write the "sane" bit. Otherwise you're implying that; unless you have the charachteristics of a mentally deranged person, you should be wearing a Reading shirt. That's a bit out of order on the handicapped/ mentally ill fans. Are you saying they aren't allowed to wear the hoops?

I think that you may be confusing the verb and the noun or perhaps I am, we must stay calm and await the arrival of the grammar police. I should perhaps have written "...wear one if you want to."

Too warm (I hope) I'm going with a panama hat and my MCC tie. Do you think that the stewards will permit Mrs Scylla to carry a parasol?

Be careful - face paint looks terrible when tears make it run, so try and get some waterproof stuff.

Sort of know where your coming from on this, but perhaps you could have delivered the idea without the slagging off

I know what you mean, I regret being so direct, but the idea was to spark debate on the subject. I know it shouldn't bother me as much, and know I'm being a bit Tom (petty) about it all, it's just I think people are too concerend about being "loyal royals", and being walking advertisements for the club. Its all about vocal support and atmosphere that can quite easily be gained by my idea, as it would mean we'd try twice as hard to make ourselves heard due to the fact nobody would know who we were. "SO WE TELL UM."

It happens at every club, every league, every sport, every country. Forget about it because it's about as reaistic as saying nobody touch a drop of alcohol on the day of the final. I never wear colours and agree that it makes alot of people look a bit of a goon but they'll be some cunt in a jester hat, replica shirt and flag making as much noise as me on the day.

I think you're missing the point, it's not a campaign. Of course it would never happen. I'm just having a chat.
I haven't got the energy to go Fidel Castro on you, I could if I wanted to though.
