TBM lol - "sorry mate, i totally mis-read Robs message - they were tickets for the Jazz Cafe showing the game.....are you ok with this"

He'll be fcuked off - especially considering he's turning down 2x corportate tickets with free beer, to take the seats with us.

Don't. This is right up Turns' street. He needs no more encouragement.

Svlad Cjelli Yeah, but a lot of Season Ticket holders will be taking along people that have never been before or don't have a member card.

Well according to the official site, 8,000 season ticket holders bought 14,000 seats, so 25% of season ticket holders aren't even buying their second ticket. So if you apply that to 12,000 season ticket holders (which is generous as there will be some that will be away) then by the end of today you would expect 21,000 to be sold. So I wouldn't be surprised if at least half the 39,000 tickets will still be available on Saturday and I'd also be very surprised if there weren't tickets on general sale on Monday.

M Brook Got my tickets last night. Got to the MadStad about 7 15. No queues. All sorted. Trip to B n Q. Back home in Wokkers before 8. Easy. Plenty of tickets available. Everyone who deserves a ticket will get one. No need to panic at all. We'll all be there!

Whilst you were in B&Q, did you pick up that special purchase they've got on sale at present?

The PREMIER Toolkit

Only catch is that it hasn't got any Hammers in it.

We need Snowball to do the numbers, showing tickets sold, tickets estimated to be sold based on previous sales (probably excluding Cup games and appearances by Elton John) and then summing it all up with a ream of numbers that no-one can understand.

Well I didn't want to tempt fate so I opted for the cheaper CHAMPIONSHIP toolkit, only to find it had no Blades in it!

If it helps, i know at least 2 people with member cards who aren't going. My ex who came to one game ever, and one of my mates who is a spurs fan but would rather earn double time on bank holiday - the saddest thing is that he used to be a season ticket holder with me for 3 years when we were in div 2.

So on that basis, we definitely won't sell out because not all 40,000 member card holders will go.

That 40,000 member card holders includes season ticket holders.

But I'm convinced that with the numbers of non-card holders being brought along by season ticket holders and the media hype going on the local radio etc that tickets won't last beyond Monday.

I'd guestimate there'll be about 7,000 left when they go on general sale, and they'll go in under a day.

I have two membercards (spare one to bring friends to the odd game) yet neither will be used to buy final tickets as I've aquired one through friend at work.

EEEK!!

Just had a mail from TicketZone:
Our website registered an attempt to make a booking, unfortunately booking ref xxxxxx was not completed as there was a discrepancy between the amount of tickets. This error can occur if you move backwards during the booking process, or if you have used a shared link.We have rebooked you on reference xxxxxx but have been unable to gain payment

This was AFTER I had a separate mail saying my booking was accepted and confirmed :|

Spoke to the Customer Services people - apparently someone else tried to select the same seats as me at the same time. The system accepts your order, confirms it, and then promptly rejects it. It is then left up to Customer Services to find all parties involved new seats, provide new booking references and then let you know. They can't take payment as the credit card details aren't stored (wow - their system does ONE thing correct) hence the email above.

So, if anyone else hasn't had their payment taken yet check your mails (and spam folders) for something similar to above - it would've come from customerservices@ticketzone.co.uk

Are you sure that isn't from one of the "unknown errors" in the booking process? Does it refer to the tickets you finally got?

Pretty sure it isn't - I only got through to seat selection and payment once, and that was in a brand new browser so I don' think there was any cookie / caching shenanigans going on.

The mail DID let me know the new row / block I'd been allocated, and on the call to CS I was told seat numbers. So all sorted now but I did have a major panic moment!!

I think me and TBMers should put in a proposal to Wembley Stadium to build 'em a new online ticketing system once this is all over. Handling that situation gracefully is like online ticketing system requirement #1.

Well because my guess is that it will end up being less than 21,000 but it's a guess.
