Blue Hooped Moose EEEK!!Just had a mail from TicketZone:
Our website registered an attempt to make a booking, unfortunately booking ref xxxxxx was not completed as there was a discrepancy between the amount of tickets. This error can occur if you move backwards during the booking process, or if you have used a shared link.We have rebooked you on reference xxxxxx but have been unable to gain payment
This was AFTER I had a separate mail saying my booking was accepted and confirmed
Spoke to the Customer Services people - apparently someone else tried to select the same seats as me at the same time. The system accepts your order, confirms it, and then promptly rejects it. It is then left up to Customer Services to find all parties involved new seats, provide new booking references and then let you know. They can't take payment as the credit card details aren't stored (wow - their system does ONE thing correct) hence the email above.
So, if anyone else hasn't had their payment taken yet check your mails (and spam folders) for something similar to above - it would've come from
customerservices@ticketzone.co.uk
This is completely and utterly disgraceful. What's more these are Wembley Stadium's recommended ticketin partners! Did those responsible for building the stadium on time then move into the ticketing business?!
It's true that RFC's own ticketing system isn't perfect and can be pretty difficult to log onto at very busy times (e.g. Man City tickets). However, once you are on the RFC site, you can choose your tickets, put them in your basket, get to the checkout, pay and receive confirmation of the tickets you have been allocated. All this without being kicked off, sent to a waiting room and then redirected to Cliff Richard tickets, or having the whole website crash around you!
