Looks like all seats have been sold on the TicketZone online system.

Looking like I might be right when I said completely sold out by COP today!

Very good effort.

The only difference next time would be that Saturday should have included a token gesture of Royalty Points. Even if its just a small figure like 250.

I have 3 35 pound tickets, not fussed about the view at all. 3 mates of mine are also trying to get some tomorrow, one of them had a season ticket for 2 years so no doubt hes a member but he hasnt been to a game since being away, and he wants to sit with people so is waiting, hope it doesn't backfire. What's the deal monday are phone tickets available? can you go direct to the club? Disappointing thing is I would have preferred to sit all together but thats the way it goes I guess.

If people are genuinely disappointed with 35's, try and get the better ones if you like because id take all three off you.

You'll have to phone tomorrow (use the 01271 number that people have mentioned above), as the Club must now return its unsold tickets to TicketZone apparently and we all know about the online ticketing debacle (having said that, I got my ticket online)

1/10 for ticketzone is a bit harsh, especially given people's experiences with the customer service staff.

With a phone purchase you're always going to have to wait quite a while, so tbh the waiting times don't actually seem that horrendus to me, not good either mind. Not that I'd have done it that way as I only have a mobile.

But the website was utterly atrocious.

I can't believe that the ticket office is not open tomorrow. Those real fans who have eschewed the commercialism of season tickets and member cards and have waited patiently until tickets go on general sale are now snubbed by the club, unless they are prepared to abandon their prinicples and purchase from Ticketzone. It's outrageous.

1/10 is entirely fair if not over generous!!

I suspect the majority of people only had to ring their very good customer service staff because their online ticketing system was so absolutely shyte. No doubt the crap online system has also given their customer service staff plenty of opportunity to practise and improve their skills.

May I be the first to say the club won't and don't give a shiny shit about the fans. As long as the tickets are sold they'll be more than happy.

It has always been the way.

Do we really have that many fans who have opted out of a (free) membercard because they want to make a stand against commercialism? I shouldn't have thought we have many at all as the (free) member card is pretty handy if you don't want to dick about with paper tickets or waste time on match day.

Having spent all of yesterday unsuccessfully trying to get tickets from that god awful site, I sympathise with anyone who has to use it but I should think the vast majority of "real" fans have a ticket by now and it's just the plastics left.

Major Ticket Mess Up

by Mat22 » 22 May 2011 18:56

Just had a call from Reading FC saying that the tickets we had purchased on Thursday had been sold twice.... Have now had to purchase alternative seating. The seats previously purchased were block 133 row 39 and now, I think we are somewhere up in the gods.

How the hell does it take to Sunday evening to work this out?

So even with email confirmation saying where I am sitting.... looks like I am no where near there!

A little message to everyone.... make sure you actually have a ticket!

Another massive cock up by Reading FC / That s**t ticket website

Not a happy Royal!

I agree. Online, I couldn't get past the first page as none of the membership numbers I tried worked. So I tried to phone, and never got past the engaged tone.

In the end it was sorted out in a few minutes down at the ground, but it would have been nice to have been able to choose the block where we'll be sitting.

So Ticketzone get 0/10 from me as they did nothing except waste my time.
