at the tube station there is some i think, but i dont know how much they charge....but if you dont mind a walk (15/20 mins) there is plenty of street parking just the other side of the little town/shops bit.....

Elm Road, karma there guys and gals, is a possible for drivers. Never had a problem getting away from the station, you come out turn left and are away into middlesex.

This is helpful if you are thinking of parking for the tube.

Don't drive, get the train and have a couple of beers! In all seriousness the public transports provision at Wembley is very good.Unless you're of limited mobility, get the train or a coach. Wembley Park, Central on the tube or Wembley station out of Marylebone

London Paddington's going to be interesting with hoards of Reading and Swansea fans all using the same terminal station in London.

Best options in my opinion is to drive to Uxbridge, park up in the chimes or pavillions town centre car parks or if you're prepared to walk 10 mins to the town centre there is plenty of street parking within 10 mins walk of the tube station all free of charge and get the met line down to Wembley Park. There are a few good boozers in Uxbridge near the tube as well.

Another option is to get the Chiltern Line from West Ruislip to Wembley Stadium. That is only a 10 minute journey and a return ticket is £4.90.

You can find parking nearby on the surrounding streets. Also there is the white bear pub and the Orchard pub nr that tube as well.

Back to the Met Line options, you could also park at Hillingdon or Ickenham, not sure how easy it is to park around there or Ruislip. There is limited car parking at Ruislip station. But there are pubs in Ruislip near the station as well.

Which ones, out of interest?

I went to the Queens Head recently on the back of it's entry in the Good Beer Guide but was decidedly unimpressed.

Have also used the Chiltern Line from Beaconsfield on several occasions - plenty of parking and a really easy train ride into Wembley.

Re: Swansea trains - only one an hour would stop at Reading anyway (the ones on the hour FWIW) which still leaves another, guessing, three an hour you can get that won't have Swansea on it. Don't panic.

There's the Fig Tree, The Metropolitan, The Queens Head, Baroosh right next to the tube, The Slug and Lettuce, There's another one opposite the tube which is popular with supporters travelling to a Wembley event (can't remember the name). There is a smollensky or something. I'm not sure what it is. Some Russian theme I think.

Let's just say there are plenty of boozers. Whether they are good or not is opinion. But Uxbridge is a good place to park the car for free, plenty of pubs and bars by the tube station for a drink up and a tube that goes direct to Wembley Park no changes. Nice and easy.

I have a mate who lives in Gerrards Cross so I may well park on his drive (it's big enough - and yes, he is loaded) and take a Chiltern line train

Top advice re the Chiltern Line. I can pick it up from Kidderminster and stay on it until it gets to Wembley. £25 for one adult and one child. 8)

Loads of weekend engineering works on the tube. So suggest check your route before you travel.

Sage advice, but Jubilee is fine on Monday (though is closed on Sunday, as indeed it was yesterday North of Waterloo)

If anyone is interested in parking nearer the stadium, I'd suggest heading towards Kingsbury or Hendon and finsing somewhere to park there, jump on the 83 or 183 bus, should have you there in about 10 minutes.

My Mum lives about a mile from the ground, I'll park at hers then bus it. Maybe walk it.
