Cardiff Cty - How not to run a football club...

by The Goat was fed » 23 May 2011 15:32

Cardiff's side has completely disintegrated - ridiculous that a club should be allowed to have so many loan players:

Shows Reading is well and truly on the right track. I can see Cardiff getting relegated next season.

I agree, I still don`t understand how they were allowed to have Bellamy when Man City were paying the bulk of his wages. In the Ist leg vs us, they had 5 loanees starting, that in itself can`t be right. Leicester City also fall in to this category as well. Loans after the end of January should only be allowed on an emergency basis only.

City need to sort out finances for UEFA's new fair play rules; if Cardiff want Bellamy back they'll have to pay for him properly this time.

They could well fall into mediocrity or worse, and I don't think many will mourn for them considering years of living beyond their means.

I don't mind that bit - its down to whatever the two clubs decide. Cardiff should have known what to expect at the end of the season.

A lot will depend on whether their Malaysian benefactor gets tired of chucking millions at a team that's failed again. Given they had spent this years season ticket money by last January (2010) he's pretty well bankrolled the club all season.

Plus West Ham, of all people, appear to want Jones to manage them - bye bye Cardiff!

If we go up we should look to sign Boothroyd and Burke if their wages are within Mr Mad's spending budget.

Lolz at losing Bellend, Bothroyd and Burke, your three star players. Horrible ill managed football club. Hope they implode like Pompey who have a skeleton squad left.
