East Stand SteBig Ern I personally think we will lose. Swansea have got the better of us twice this season, and think they will do it again as we bottle it in true Reading FC style
A remember at the Playoff Final against Bolton while Archie was preparing to take his Penalty, I turned to my mate and said, "He will miss and we are going to lose." At Cardiff when we went 2-1 up, I didn't even cheer as I knew we would lose. Can't help thinking the same here.
I so hope we can bury the 'Ghosts of Playoffs Past' but can't see it happening and fully expect to see Brenda prancing around with his massive watch at the final whistle. Anyone else feeling as negative as me?
I think with that level of negativity, you should not attend! Support or don't go!

Compo's Hat Will lose 2-0, Swansea will pass the ball to death against us and it'll look men against boys. Once we concede the first goal i look forward to people beginning to wonder how we made it this far after another desperate Mills hoof.

MmmMonsterMunch Just hope it's not decided on a dodgy refereeing decision & the best team wins fairly on the day.

sandman There are no favourites in the play offs, When we played Swansea earlier in the season we didn't have a player who has become an integral part to the team in the last few month's in Ledge.
sandman There are a few posters on here who it would seem would be delighted if we lost just so that they can come on here and gloat that they were right and chastise the people who believe we can do it. Those who predict so confidently that we'll lose are forgetting the unpredictability of these matches which is ironic considering that Reading fans know more than most how unpredictable they are.
sandman This game really is too close to call either way but we have just as good a chance of winning it as Swansea do. If we can go to Anfield and Goodison and win why can't go to Wembley and do the same? And don't give me any of that underdog rubbish because according to you lot we are the underdog and Swansea are some sort of Barcelona like invincibles. They can be beaten as can we.
sandman P.S. How can the naysayers who ask us to sing, create a positive and exciting atmosphere at regular season games preach to us when they can't get behind the lads for the biggest game of the season?

sandman I think you're pretty naive about the mentality of some of the people on here if you don't think they're just itching to be proved right. It gives them a chance to call everyone else an idiot and say I told you so which seems to be very important on this portal. How many times a day do we see people calling others an idiot just because they have the temerity to disagree with their opinion?
What you have to realise is that our first play off defeat happened 16 years ago and our second was a decade ago. The club is more professional now and is vastly different to what it was even when Coppell first joined. The team has changed several times, we no longer play at a rickety old victorian ground and we don't train in the local park anymore this is a Premier League set up. Just because two Reading teams have lost play off finals doesn't have any bearing on this team. Do you think Swansea are using two entirely different Reading teams losing finals before as a reason why they can win?
I didn't say that Liverpool and Everton were pressure games I said that if we can go there and win we can win this game because they give you an experience in playing in the big games. Think about the pressure on Swansea, they would be the first team from Wales to reach the Premier League, now that's pressure. Quite frankly if a sportsman can't deal with pressure they won't get very far in their chosen discipline.
You could be right we could have another horror but what if we don't? Can you get fully behind the players if you start out thinking they will lose?
