Was sat in 125. Behaved myself and sat down for 90% of the game realising I had a vast number of daytrippers around me, only stood when we were attacking. People yelling "SIIIIITTTTTT DAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN" at the top of their voices when we have just scored to make it 3-2 and were on the attack again, what - the - fu*k??? How could you even be worried about whether people are standing up when we were on the verge of a historic comeback?

"This isn’t terracing"
"I have paid 70 quid for my ticket"

Someone even grabbed my shoulders and tried to make me sit down just before Swansea's second penalty despite there being hundreds of people stood in front of me. I went nuts.

Complete utter mongs. Fu*k off and never come back.

The twats in 138 spent the whole match arguing with eachother and fighting. This was not passion but the effects of being pissed and unable to hold their drink or watch a football match without upsetting other people! They can stand the whole bloody day long if that turns them on,but not at the expense of people who would like to sit down and have paid a lot of money to do so! The stewards were less than useless.

Good god, excellent example of why to stay away from the team board!

I stood at the back of 130. Back 7 or 8 rows stood all game, but there was a brief bit of fisticuffs just a long from me with a guy two rows from the back physically trying to make the guy in front sit down.

I bet there were hundreds of similar disputes all round the stadium today. A more compelling case for safe standing you could not find.

Sat in row 24 of block 125, and encountered no problems with frequent standing, pretty much every time Reading attacked with the ball, even down the left in the second half when the ball was right in front of us - was pretty much at the back of the block though, I think row 26 was the back.

+1. Thoroughly unenjoyable and unsatisfactory all round wasn't it? The fellas in front of me were a bit blotto and stood up continually. That's fine, I'll be standing up too then. A woman behind me moaned, I replied in no uncertain terms once and once only that it wasn't my responsibility to steward complete strangers and the complaints were never heard again, funnily enough.

A further LOL @ the whole 'it'll be a good day out' bandwagon. It really, really wasn't. Fair play to those who stood and sang, but to be fair to those who prefer to sit the whole thing as I say is totally unsatisfactory.

Yes it was. Incredible stadium, noisy fans, terrific game, and underpinned by the prize on offer. We lost, and that's shit, but it was a great day. Atmosphere on the trains, in the pubs beforehand, took my old man and he had an excellent time. Shame about the result, but would you go again next May? Of course you would.

I'm already looking forward to keeping it real at Ashton G8 and Upton Park next season.

Going 3-0 down is certainly a good one to test the Day Trippers and their "it'll be a good day out" mentality. Heard a few mentions of that on various phone calls on the train back to Brum.

No complaints regarding the folk in block 541, although the same cannot be said for the stewards, who made us take down the Midland Royals flag as it was obscuring one of the bits of the boarding that said Wembley on it, despite their being a good fifty other flags around the stadium similarly positioned. They were also doing this whilst Swansea were in the process of attacking and scoring their second goal, which did not help matters

SLAMMED Add to that all the twats that left before the final whistle.

I saw one fan, 10 minutes from the end not only leave, take off their plastic printed 'Reading vs Swansea City' shirt, and put on a plain navy shirt, then placing their RFC shirt in a carrier bag, and walking out...

Don't come back, you fcuking mugs.

We were surrounded by plastic today, disgusted with our support.

'SIT DOWN'... No, oxf*rd off.

surely not the Micra with the driver looking uncomfortably too close to his steering wheel, fogged up windows, and a hoop wearing garfield cat stuck to the rear passenger window?

in all fairness (god I hate that terminology) without the "plastic" (whatever that truly is) you (and the Swansea Bios) would've been even more embarressed and ( even more so) sat in a half empty stadium

Was sat in 552 - the last of our block. Expected "neutrals" or corporate or whatever next to us. Got Swansea fans literally 20 feet away, but did get an an excellent view of our fans.

Observations - they were louder than us for most of the game. Nobody sang anywhere near me (I did and am very hoarse!). Atmos outside was better than inside.

To the OP and various ppl above - if the club is gonna grow we need new blood. We were all plastics once. Not saying everyone was great (bloke next to me may still be sat there now....was emotionless for 90 minutes), but did we really think we'd get 40,000 STHs? Where was Bill Oddie, Terry & June etc?

The minute their announcer started knocking out Glee song choice (which is ghey) we were on the back foot in the fan vs fan sense....
