Hoskins has already joined Brighton.

Lee Hughes should still be in prison.

Kevin Francis or Andy Preece would seem ideally suited to our long ball football.

Keeps with BM's ethos. Afterall, in Shane Long he turned a bench-warming goal shy young lad into one of the "Hottest Properties" outside the Prem, he may fancy his chances of doing it again with Church. It would be the cheap option aswell which would go down well in the Madejski camp too.....lots of cloth to cut and all....

Super Royals Mackail-Smith (P'boro) ??

Lives in/near Peterborough and is reportedly wanted by Norwich?

Hard choice!!

Would love us to sign him if it was possible though!

Morrison will have too much of a price tag, mackail smith is more likely heading to Norwich,Campbell is very unlikely and as for lee Hughes.. Over my dead o*ford body!!!

Agree. Long leaving was always on the cards, so getting the players in earlier would give them more time to settle.

I cannot see us spending big money on a replacement for Long, if any at all. Any money fom his transfer fee made available will likely be used to strengthen other areas of the team, the rest (being the vast majority) will be used for helping "Cut the Cloth...."

Nathan Tyson ?? ...

Ebanks Blake ?? ...can do it at this level and only bit part under McCarthy...

Rhodes from Huddersfield is a good shout though...linked with him in past and Huddersfield in Div 1

I think Rhodes would be a good signing. He's supposed to be good in the air, and has scored a reasonable amount of goals this season (16 in total). He would also be relatively inexpensive. :)

Yeah, but as has been firmly established over the last couple of weeks, you're an idiot.

Ebanks Blake - YES!! Would be an excellent signing, only thing is would he be willing to drop down a league and how much would he cost? I expect he'd demand a high wage too. He's certainly a 20 goal a season striker which is just what we would be looking for to replace Long.
