Ian Royal Wycombe Royal In my opinion the deduction for costs would be a fair bit more than 2 pounds per ticket meaning that Schards was optimistic at 55 pounds, which was my original point.
I'd have thought you'd have to go for
at least an estimate of costs equaling 50% of revenue. So £55 x 86,000 x.5 x.5 = ~£1.2m.
As I said earlier, it's so pie in the sky as to be worthless. None of us knows anything about Policing or Stewarding costs, player & staff bonuses, travel & o/night costs, entertainment... is there a cost just for using Wembley? I've no fricking clue.
So why pick 50% as an expenses cost?
You can make very sensible estimates. Say there is a steward for ever 100 spectators. That would be 850 stewards, one hell of a lot. What does a steward earn for the day? £100? If so that's £1 of every ticket goes to stewarding.
Not hard to make solid estimates of hotel costs. 30 players and 30 staff, say 30 rooms at £100 = £3,000. Pretty hard to imagine a bill over £6,000
A couple of luxury coaches for a coupla days? You gonna get that bill much over 3K?
