YateleyRoyal Phil Jones to Utd...no mention of a fee but its sure to be high

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 50,00.html

Rumoured to be about £16m

Only a good thing for the future of English centre backs - him and Smalling playing together will do wonders for our national side

You can see Fergie trianing them with Ferdinand and Vidic as he sees them as the same sort of pairing. Smalling as the ball player and Jones as the bruiser. Good bit of business if you ask me.
The Henderson deal is separate to the Ngog deal. Good player, only 19, and with the new PL rules paying £20m for a British youngster isn't a bad bit of business

This. Exciting young defence Ferguson is building, with De Gea on his way too, and Rafael emerging the second half of the season. It's a shame his brother isn't left-footed.

Pratley's gone :|

QPR reportedly in for Williams for GBP2.6m

Geordies interested in Taylor for GBP1m

On a lighter note, Chopra seems to be off which leaves C*rdff with little up front.

His departure would certainly leave a big hole there; the fat oxf*rd!

S'Ok - they've got Jon Parkin to fill the gap.

The money saved on their pre match meal budget means Cardiff make a profit on this one

Just what I was thinking.

If they've gone up and sold their key players just so they can cash in on the whole experience I'll be mightily disappointed as I feel we would have made more of a fist of it.

However, it could just be Rodgers getting players with the right DNA*

Thing is Pratley was out of contract, so i guess he wanted to move on - rather than Swansea not wanting him

BUT i do believe Rodgers will dip into the market in the summer and bring in better players, who fit in with his style of play. I dont think Swansea will stay up with their current squad - they didn't even play well in the play off final, so will need to strengthen.

Has Pratley actually gone or is it just rumours at this stage?

I can understand him leaving to an extent. I've always thought he's been one of their best players but then he was struggling to get a start so, with his contract up, it would be understandable if he went elsewhere whilst he could.

He's been under the media's spotlight for a couple of years. He is very, very good.
