cmonurz Swansea have gone up and are selling their good players? What did I miss?

Pratley defo gone but not signed for anyone. Wish him well until he plays us.

Williams bid appears to be nonsense as per his Twitter so that means he's going

Talking to Marcus Senna...

Talking to Spurs Re: Stephen Caulker (Eng U-21) for a loan deal - he was on loan at Br*zzle last season and they seem to rate him.

Contract clause allowing the Geordies to speak to Taylor.

Only £10m too, or so the rumours say

And Clichy to Liverpool for £5m

I can see Arsenal struggling next season....

That or Wenger has some masterplan in mind.

Does seem very strange those. I guess he has a lot of faith in Gibbs. But selling at good value prices to key rivals does seem crazy.

I think Gibbs is good enough to step up, which will be good news for England too....If Arsenal can get Cahill and Samba that'll sort their defence out, then Benzema up top with another play-making winger to replace Nasri. But even then they need another striker and midfielder imho

Samir Nasri is a ridiculously good footballer. What is going on? Firstly he doesn't make it into France's pathetic World Cup squad in 2010 and a year later he is being sold for a relatively small fee to one of Arsenal's rivals.

I understand it's because he wants decent money and Arsenal aren't willing to go against their wage structure, but seriously, do they really expect to be able to compete at the top level whilst operating on such a basis?

Take Nasri and Fabregas (who they also face losing) out of that Arsenal side and they look very, very ordinary.

What's the problem with the wage structure? Arsenal have the 5th highest wage bill, behind Chelsea, Man City, ManU and Liverpool. Perhaps it's not stupid money, but he won't get that at ManU, if he wanted lots more money he'd need to go to Chelsea or Man City.

Rumoured to be getting £20k more at Utd than what Arsenal were offering

It'll be gr8 m8 because he's soooo slow. Play Bryn upfront just to take the piss, and he'll outpace him all day.

Actually, him being embarrassed for pace is not what I want him to see. In my head, he's a god among men. The thought of him being done over 10 yards by Simon pfucking Church makes me well up.
