Elmer Park Adie Williams has left Didcot Town to concentrate on his new role at BBC Radio Berkshire. I hope they utilise him better than the ludicrous trip to watch Swansea they sent him on for the last day of the regular season. Despite the fact that we are of course playing them in the final what on earth was the point of that trip?
Didcot Town Didcot Town has released manager Ady Williams from his agreement with the club.
Former Reading FC captain and Wales International player, Williams, appointed Didcot Town manager in February, took on the task of improving the fortunes of the team in the Southern League Premier Division. Despite his efforts, inconsistent form throughout the season, plus the loss of six points through the demise of Windsor & Eton was too much to be recovered. Leaving the team in the relegation places.
Terms for Williams to continue with Didcot were agreed at the beginning of this month. During the past week developments in his media career have provided an opportunity that the club fully understand he must pursue, and have removed any obligation he had with Didcot Town.
Didcot Town Chairman, John Bailey, commented. "In the short time Ady has been involved with Didcot Town we could not fault him, an excellent manager. Popular with the players, fans and all involved with the club. Most importantly he did things in the right way, both on and of the pitch."
"I have to say we had high hopes for what he could have done for us during the coming season. We are very disappointed to lose Ady, it's come as a big shock to us. But his family and career have to be his prime commitments, and there is no way this club would do anything to jeopardise that."
Ady Williams added. "I regret having to relinquish my position at Didcot, but my work commitments have to take priority. I would like to thank everyone involved and connected with the football club for all the support they have given me."
In the interim, Didcot Town have held exploratory talks with a highly experienced managerial candidate, and hope to be in a position to announce an appointment within the next seven days.

Alan Partridge I'd heard Lambourn had applied to go up, Wallingford too but i believe league rules say you have to finish in the top 2.

How on earth have Hayes and Yeading ended up playing "home" games at Woking? Aren't there rules against clubs playing so far away from their actual location?

They are moving back to Yeading's old ground and sold Church Rd (Hayes) to fund it. Its a temporary move i believe whilst the "new" ground is renovated.
