Cardiff fans think j-loyd samuel is an imposter of a footballer. No thanks.
Kightly and kamara and thats about it. The others are downgrades or sideways steps.

Woods of Chelsea is worth a punt. Sonko could still do a job and Spector would be useful.

See Giles Barnes is on there and would fancy a punt on Shroot if Kebe goes, but there seem like some decent players on the list i hear that las Scholes isnt bad for his age

Apparently he's signing with Bournemouth so that may render it pretty much mission impossible.

I'd like to see some of those given a pre-season friendly trial just for the LOL's when the commentator tries to pronounce their names.

M-U-R-T-Y Wonder if Upson would come back.

Wages would be a major problem.

That's the thing... generally, these players have been released because they're over the hill, were never on the hill, or think they are higher up the hill than they are. Maybe we could gamble on someone like Randall or Woods to replace Howard, but generally, despite the big names, we won't or shouldn't go after these players.

We'll wait until the ones we haven't heard of, and we currently don't give a shit about, drop down a couple of leagues and become brilliant. Then everyone will whinge on UR & G about why we won't pay £1-2million for them.

http://www.givemefootball.com/pfa-transfer-list Full PFA transfer list

I'd go for Giles Barnes - still young enough to come good and his career has stalled suficiently that he'd probably be prepared to take a pay cut.

If Danny Gabbidon would take a pay cut, he'd provide experience and reasonable pace at the back.

Kevin McDonald off Burnley could be interesting, looked very good early in his career and just fallen out of favour in the last year - still only 22. Centre mid not a priority but could be the new Bryn.

Anyone got an update on this?

Surely if Mcfadden is still available, he's worth a go?

Jlloyd Samuel still available. Would be a good singing at left back in my view. Giles Barnes has gone to Doncaster; would have boosted attacking options. McFadden still available, WCBAP. More so than the other 2 mentioned.
