A true hero was Leo. Many times we'd cheer in anticipation as he got close to the ball. Please share the great memories of this gr8 man.

I watched him play for St Albans a couple of years back. Lovely ground, Clarence Park. Er... that's it.

Was it Leo Roget who broke his leg playing for Reading but still finished the game?

Tony Witter - on loan from a QPR and played a whole half with a fractured leg! Ouch.

You're probably right, but I'm sure I saw a game in the Seventies (I think it was at Peterborough) where Gary Peters broke his leg, but didn't come off. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure he scored a goal in the game after his injury.

I was always impressed with his vocabulary and ability to pluck a synonym from seemingly nowhere.

Pat Terry broke his leg at Bournemouth and played the whole of 2nd half.

Tom Jones walked off the pitch after getting his right leg broken by Kelly Haag (Barnet) in 1993. He had only just come back from another broken leg. We won 4-1.

The Witter incident certainly happened, but you're right apart from the fact it was a 2 - 0 win at Fratton Park (oh and it was certainly a bad injury - can't remember whether it was a broken leg though)

Vague memory that the Peter's injury was broken ankle and that he scored as well.
