Royal Lady
loyalroyaldaz Cos he fits the mould of a wanna big time Charlie. Fit Wag on his arm, you can see him now falling out of China White`s on a Sunday Morning, threatening to punch some Paps face in for daring to take a photo of his missus snatch as she clambers into a taxi !Dont mind him as a player, bit inconsistent still, but he is not a captain yet imo.
Mate of mine from Wolves told me a couple of weeks ago he was going there for £4m, if thats the case then so be it, more gutted to lose Longy. use the money to go and get Betrand. Him and the newly resurrgent Cummings would be such a plus for us.

This is hilarious!!! He's had plenty of chance to do just that and he hasn't. Seems to me people are jealous of him - 24, got a bit of money - professional footballer, got a nice girlfriend. Jeez. If it wasn't so funny, it would be very sad!!

I've rated Mills for a long time - I can see he can be fantastic for us. Cardiff away in the play-offs was probably his best game that I've seen him in. He has all the qualities and attributes needed to go far in this game, he's not the finished article. I've stood up for him all season and I'll continue to do so. Some of the "arguments" on here against him are, frankly, pathetic.

+2 ...Mills is a quality defender ...and will get better.....he's also the club captain and I am hoping that the fact he dons the armband and that he recognises the importance of that, that he will stay at the club.....I dont believe he's driven by money , like most players are, otherwise he'd have stayed at Man City earning far more than he did by moving to Doncaster ..... he could be the proof that there still is some loyalty and integrity in some players, and that some things are more valuable than the balance in the bank account .........all imho

Ian Royal
royalsroyalsroyals92 None of my previous post worked.
just asking ian royal, why do think he would be so eager to leave?
Working for a manager who gave him a chance
Club captain,
in a team with potential!

Because he's obviously ambitious and thinks he's very good. It would be extremely rare for a modern footballer to turn down a big move. Rodgers bought him from Donny, not McDermott. Donny got him on the radar as a good player, not Reading.

What proof do you have of this? :|

Whore Jackie Here’s another story then.

One of BR’s training ground routines, was based on the Chelsea team and formation. Each player was given a Chelsea player’s identity and told to mimic their style of play – Rasiak was Drogba , Bertrand was A.Cole and Karacan was Essien etc etc. A day or so later, Karacan had swapped his Mini and drove into training in a spanking new Audi Q7. Brendan wasn’t happy about the younger players flashing their cash and pulled him in. Jem retorted that he’d asked him to copy Essien and he’d done exactly that!

Karacan didn’t start a match for Rodgers again.

gazzer, loyal royal spoke to my guy at the club today and we've received no official bids for players. its very much is player a available and if so how much do you want for him scenario.

We've offered Mills a new deal, and we're hopeful he will sign it

just going to bump up my original post

The Reading Chronicle However, Hammond insisted: "I'm not going to have a situation where we are continually commenting about this player or that player.

"We've had phone calls and conversations with clubs and we will say something when we're ready and a deal is done.

"Until then, everything else is pure speculation. It's fairly quiet at the moment but things will get busier."

Never believe newspapers unless they're actually quoting somebody to confirm things.

I don't generally, that was supposed to be tongue in cheek but it obviously didn't really come off.

Not at all. I wasn't entering your discussion with RR about average wages in the CCC. I was responding to your comment about Reading not likely to pay 30k a week at Premiership level.

Now then, I've just read the previous page. Definite facepalm there now. I believe that Ian Royal was referring to championship wages.

Oh, and Ian, I think I knew you were trying to be amusing when you said Newspapers official, but there were a number of posters before you who were taking the rumour of Wolves bid as fact.
