The Swindon game is going to be one of the most exciting this year. Not because we have a dull year in front of us, but because Swindon are the old enemy, and we haven't played them since another pre-season friendly 5 years ago (it's about that) So I am dead excited about this. Should be a perfect little build up to the season, which pub is the designated pre game watering hole?

Elmer Park We are sending a young team to Eastleigh on July 9th according to McDermott's latest interview on the OS.

In case you were thinking of going to Eastleigh....

Admission: £12 adults, £7.50 concessions, £4 under 16's.

Bit steep imho.

You can always go to the FSF Fans' Parliament instead : http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=107527

Final pre-season game:

Saturday 30th July - Swindon Town (A)

Well done Dawn, you were quite right to miss the word 'friendly' from your post.

Does anyone know if Swindon Away is going to be tickets on the day? I can't find any ticketing information on either the Reading or Swindon sites.

Very much a reserves side, but we were expecting that.

Would be interesting to go just to say see some of the new graduates in action.

Our play-off run looks like it cost us a decent last pre-season game at the Madstad this year due to time constraints, so Swindon away looks the stand out fixture - not quite the Real Madrid tie our new found friends at Leicester have somehow managed to organize...Roll on Millwall...
