Apparently we've offered GBP3m for the Polish stopper  Looks half decent from the clips I've seen. The GBP90m won't last at this rate though.

£48M of that £90M comes in the 4 years of parachute payments. Don't spend it all at once!

Apparently you've approached Reading for Federici at £1.5m. Two reliable hobnobbers backing that one up.

SJ. I have a lot of time for Swansea but this is nothing short of shambolic...Borini, Pratley, Taylor, De Vries with Rangel also on his way apparently. There doesn't seem to have been much long term planning contract wise. I know Borini was on loan but the others were surely avoidable. For a team that has only just won promotion this isn't too clever.

Borini - loan
Taylor - Geordies activated a contract clause when they bid GBP1m

Agree with the others. Not quite sure what happened but there was obviously a huge cock-up made 2-4 years ago. Not BWs fault.

Can't help but thing something must be going on behind the scenes, for most of the players in your squad (and ours if we'd gone up) it could well be their only chance of top flight football. Even if you're a greedy stupid footballer you'd not let that go for the sake of a few quid?

Not so sure that's right. I can see why De Vries went - Wolves are (unfort) a bigger, more established club. There was apparently a reduction if we went down so it at least seems as though there's someone sensible running things at the mo.

For the sake of a few quid - well, I doubt we'll be able to match most Prem teams wage budget. A small weekly increase is a sh1t load over a 3-4 year contract.

All those that have left (bar Pratley so far) have gone to the top division in that country so they are getting top flight footy. Bodde has resigned too which, if he stays fit, is a massive bonus. Would have him over any of those that have or are likely to leave.

Ashley Young to Man Utd £17m?

That seems quite cheap, considering Liverpool bought Henderson for £20m and Carroll for £35m

Wasn't he free next summer? Good signing by United. Is there a sell on for Watford? God knows they need it.

This.

TBM, you're still struggling with this player valuation thing, aren't you. £17m is a good wedge for a player out of contract in a year.
