Royal Rother If he thought that was going to work he must be a bit of a plank. A very rich one, but a plank nonetheless.
Around the £100,000,000 mark she got wasn't it?

Yes, it was around £100m, but he is worth around £350m. The guy is a typical hairy arse builder made good. He lives not to far away from me and can certainly be regarded as a "character". Between Morgan, Jez Moxey and Mick McCarthy I can imagine Wolves' board meetings are a proper toss fest!
If we stand our ground they will go away.

Apparently Reading are not allowed to sell any players in the close season - and have to buy a whole new team.

Nope. Just that fans hope we can either keep hold of core players, or replace them with people who have played football before, or weren’t present at the match played in no-mans land during the Christmas Truce of 1914.

Promising username and early posts, only to decend into utter tedium.

Friday's Legacy i absolutely detest wolves and that upstart morgan. we do not have to sell, we run our club a lot more sensibly than wolves and the majority of others, so do one and move on to these other targets of yours.

Wolves seem relatively well run, and it's exactly the sort of thing Madejski might say. So I don't know why you're having a pop at him. It's just part of the transfer game playing. Talk down your interest and their value to put pressure on reducing the price.

Wolves had publicly said a few years ago that they're "following the Reading model".

roadrunnerDOYLERSAROYALER "Get real with transfer fees" says the chairman who sanctioned the £3m purchase of SHunt
....obviously had a weak moment
Mills is worth more than Shunt is ...and seeing that they have openly stated they are desperate for central defenders , it wont help their bargaining position imho
But defenders tend to sell for less than strikers and midfielders. £3-4m for Matt Mills is great and we only paid £1m for him don't forget. The other potential million was based on promotion and other extras.

Hunt had proven Premier League quality and several seasons experience at that level. And he is a goal creator. The only thing Mills has going for him over SHunt is age and potential.

2 seasons isn't several. Besides we'll sell at the price we want to sell at - we don't have to sell him. If they want him, they'll have to pay that price. That's the way it works and if Morgan doesn't like it then he can f*ck off.
Besides I hate Wolves. Horrific club.

Svlad Cjelli I think calling it "bullying tactics" is a bit over the top. It's all just sabre-rattling, probably designed to try and demonstrate to Wolves fans that things are happening.
In reality, Jez Moxey & Nigel Howe are the best of mates.
