Big Foot Henderson on a free transfer is a bargain - Pardew said he's worth £2million

Henderson is accomplished at this level and a free transfer is great value for them.

IF he stays fit.

Mr Angry
Ferris QPR have made a bid for DJ Campbell

Of £1.25M

:|

Not really the sort of striker that QPR will need to survive imho.

Source? Couldn't find the rumour on the SkySports transfer centre but I need a link to taunt a m8 with.

He scored double figures last season didn't he? Not bad going for a struggling side. I agree though that they really should have their sights set higher. I don't fancy them to stay up. Swansea and QPR rooted to the bottom.

It was a struggling side that basically went all out attack all season. The reason they went down was because teams quickly sussed out that they couldn't defend.

A forward scoring double figures for a team like Wolves or Birmingham, or set up to defend and keep it tight a lot more than Blackpool, would've had a much better goalscoring season than Campbell last year.

He won't be a bad buy at that price though.

£1.25m is the relegation release clause in his contract.

blackpool will be kicking themselves if they lose him for that amount. their success took them by surprise, much as swansea's has and caught them out with a few players. it makes you appreciate how good a job nicky hammond does here for us, both in bringing players in and negotiating new deals for them with high-end release clauses. £1.25m for campbell is a snip, but playing in another struggling premiership team wont get the best out of him.

We've picked up Caulker (Eng U-21 centre back) from Spurs on a season long loan. A DMC and another striker would be nice...

But at least spend it on someone that is proven at the highest level and someone that isn't a complete dick.

QPR-suppoting mate PSG for 13.5m – if that was true (not saying it isn’t) then he will be gone. They would have made 12.5m on him in 1 year – would be one of the greatest transfers ever not just for a business POV. I hope he stays though, he is one of the best entertaining 4 players I have ever seen play for QPR – to join – Les Ferdinand, Roy Wegerle, Trevor Sinclair. If they sold him the club would probably be just as tight and spend a million or 2, even though they are meant to have a £12m transfer chest already. I think DJ Campbell isn’t a bad player – 13 goals for Blackpool and he has played at top level a few years. I would personally be after a Robbie keane / andy Johnson type player – they’re not the best but they know where the goal is. We also need a new top level centre back and a younger Sean Derry midfielder. Basically 1 central player in every position.

SSN do that all the time but often, as clubs tend to do, include the wages as part of the total cost of the deal.
