Ian Royal We haven't had this business model for 30 years.
Neither did Leicester.......

Avon Royal You may well be right, however football is about so much more than just "GOOD BUSINESS". It is about passion, excitement, the pain of failure and the joy of victory.

Most of us experienced those in abundance in the Play Off games.

Winchester, pleased you spotted the humour in it, we will be ok McD will be given the minimal financial assistance to sort out for next year and he will, no doubt, spin his magic again. But you do have to wonder how many more shortfalls, that need to be filled, are going to be found before the end of August though dont you ??

I personally think you have taken a far too cynical view-point on this deal. It has put us in a strong position financially now so that we don't have to sell other key players, and in the process we have got an excellent fee for a player who is barely above average and who only had one year left on his contract.
And also I would be willing to put a fair amount of money on us signing a couple of CB's this year, either on loan or permanantly, who will do just as good a job as Mills did last year.
Be positive people!

What have Leicester fans been privileged to witness over the last, say, decade that has been so superior to that seen by his Reading counterpart
What about the last, say, 30 years.............

Lets agree then that on the big football balance sheet we'd all like to see more entries in the joy of victory column than in the pain of failure one. A profit of joy would be nice.

TBM I have just found out that Doncaster will get 10% of the transfer fee Leicester pay NOT from the profit. There are two types of % and this is what we had agreed with Doncaster.

under the tin It really makes me laugh, this forum.
If the club says that sh1t tastes like chocolate, then some of you instantly want to smear it all over your grandchildren's birthday cake.
Sure, operating costs in any business need to be kept under control, but it is not in any sense "good business" to take your eye off your income streams.
