Someone must have predicted this happening.

Wolves agree £7M fee with Birmingham for Roger Johnson

Makes it even more remarkable that we got £5M for Mills IMO

Brum had them by the short & curlies the moment Mills signed for Leicester.

Good work Moxey; if you hadn't been such a penny-pincher and offered us more money, you would have gots Mills for a lot less than you got Johnson for.

I think BFers' point was that Johnson is streets ahead of Mills, which the £2million difference in transfer fees doesn't necessarily suggest.

Great signing if they can get him fit for >50% of league games

Just what I was about to write. Likely to be on reduced wages too, so less risk for a "smaller" side.

Some journalist on R5 just said that Nasri's has decided to see out the last year of his contract and his agent has now told Man Utd & City that. Utd & city have today both made enquiries for Modric & Chelsea have upped their offer to £29M for him

Sell.

Or do Spurs consider Chelsea to be 'rivaLOLs'?

Spurs would be mad not to sell - Modric isn't even worth that much.

IF the reason Carlos Tevez wants to leave Man City is cos he wants to be closer to "home" in Argentina..........then why are teams like Chelsea/Inter/Madrid etc being name dropped!?

Chelsea is closer to Argentina than Manchester.

But we know that geography isn't your strong suit.

LUX No way is Downing worth that. Hope it's true :?

Downing just seems a bit on the slow side for a winger..

I like him, I think he's very good with the ball

Probably why he'll be better suited at Arsenal than Liverpool......a more fluid style that will see his strength (ie the ball at his feet) used more than pace.

Yep. Under O'Neill, Villa's midfield was like Arsenal-lite. Any of the 4 midfielders could play in any of the 4 midfield positions and were happy to move about during the game. I like that.

Some Dutch journalist on R5 just said that Sneider will be a Utd player within the next 7 days. Reckons De Jong has already admitted that he has been looking for houses for him.

that'll secure united another championship. brilliant player to add to an already superb side. chelsea have a lot of catching up to do and the less said about arsenal the better.
