Bourenane is an Algerian (Born in Algiers) youth and is rated, and plays for Valenciennes. He's 18 or 19 and plays for the U19s.
Found this interview about him http://www.lebuteur.com/en/actualites/gaby-desmenez-bourenane-est-un-joueur-talentueux

Good to see your levels of literacy improving Floydster with the description of our new hot-shot striker as "utter turd".

Must be hard for Williams. The only player aged over 19 in the reserve squad as far as I can see.

Still he will either step up or fall by the wayside. Cummings proved that McDermott will give players another chance if they step up.

brendywendy wha?

That aimed my way?

McDermott clearly doesn't think he's quite ready (or in Floyd/handbags parlance 'utter turd') and so he's left him at home with the kids whilst the first team squad go off on their jolly.

i just wasnt sure what it meant.

Nah, not at all. I think he's utter turd and a waste of a gamble to be honest!

Nothing like giving someone a chnace!! Two reserve games and you are writing him off.

I suspect that there is only a 25% chance he will make it with us - but at £50K surely worth the risk.

In many ways I would rather that we spend a few hundred thousand on a number of lower league players - some of which will make it - than a few million on one PL has been.

1) It was tongue in check

2) He's been here six months and has played in more than 2 reserve games

3) I wrote him off six months ago!
