Libertine I am gonna swim against the current on this one.
I wish Matt Mills well, professionally and personally, and thank him for his time with the team. He is gone and everyone, and life, moves on.

The Glory Days Some Reading fans make me laugh. When Matt Mills scored the second goal in the play off final who at this point were calling him a tosser then? I think he was awesome, yeah he gave the ball away by hoooooooooooofing it, but then if he had tried to play it out of defence and lost it then people would have called for his head a lot quicker! Anyone who went away to Everton will know that behind the middle finger gesture he loves us fans. So to those who are calling him a money grabbing twat ^^ no wonder he wants out when some fans are behaving like you!

what a load of cr*p. He was only here five minutes and left for the money rather than a particularly compelling career move. That's why I'm calling him a money grabbing tw*t. I don't wish him ill or bad luck. Just calling it as I see it.

Royal With Cheese I feel exactly the same about Mills as he feel's about us. It's all a bit meh really.
As long as RFC are not out of pocket I'm happy.

Terminal Boardom Thing is, he has seen Gylfi leave as well as put up with speculation regarding other squad members staying or going. Leicester are showing their ambition by buying some very good players in a clear attempt to gain promotion. He will see Leicester as being on the rise. Reading however, with the cloth cut accordingly, are not sending the signals that Leicester and Ipswich are. Mills may see this as ambition and if so, sees Leicester as being more ambitious than Reading. I don't blame him going. I wish him well. But there are better defenders out there and certainly more level headed ones who would not pick up yellow and red acrds as if they are going out of fashion.

Brain Traysers Good luck Matt,
a player with huge potential still. Wouldn't be surprised to see him eventually play a handful of games for England once he grows up.
Still that being said, i hope Leicester fail to buy the title.

Svlad Cjelli Leicester might be accumulating all the players, but they're also accumulating a mass of expectations and a mass of big egos.

Bet they still beat us on August 13th, though.

Is that the game where we conceded FOUR goals, you mean, when the defence went missing
and we needed a captain to get a grip of the players?
We may not have been calling Mills a tosser when he scored, what was only, as it turned out,
a consolation goal, but what were we saying or thinking when we went 1-0 down, 2-0 down, 3-0 down
before half-time? Was Matt lavished with praise?

He was just wanting to come over and lap up the adulation that night, you fool. Typical modern footballer - as soon as the adulation dies down and spectators deign to grumble, he gets a strop on, gives them the figure and goes stomping off at the end of the game.
