Dont make me laugh!

Pacquette, Williams, Hendry = top half finish. Bet you a portion of chips with curry sauce.

ON. Pacquette only their for pre season training i believe, Hendry will be lame before the season starts and will make about 8 starts all season. Williams is just another one of them from West London. Be prepared for a LONG season.

You do realise the people questioning/being negative about the running of the club are only doing so because they/we care? We all want the same thing. We all don't blindly trust the powers that be. The same manager, Players and most importantly the old vice chairman who over saw ALOT of over spending before walking out after a fall out with Mr Simpson isn't something that fills people with confidence the new club is being run correctly surely you can see that?

It the true story is half as entertaining as the rumours and theories knocking about it would make a cracking film!

I have no problem with anyone being objective. Where I do have a problem is where there are blatant lies and misinformation that is out there. One question for you. If Kevin Stott had not stepped in following the winding up of Windsor & Eton FC, just who would have come in to set up what is Windsor FC? Harvey the White Rabbit? The tooth fairy? A intelligent blonde?

I'm pretty sure there would of been a, perhaps homeless, club with much more modest ambitions.

As Kevin himself would agree he couldn't of got the club to where it is today without help.

And if your vision of a new club was to be homeless, how much do you think it would cost to groundshare? Now that WOULD cause alarm bells to ring. I gather that you did not take the opportunity to question Scott and Stott directly at the recent forum. That was a shame. It would have been good to get any gripes, concerns and worries into the open instead of lurking behind a keyboard complaining.

###### SEASON 2011 - 2012 #####

... well here we are then - the new season looms and the first 'proper' fixtures are out - indeed of our 'local' leagues, from STEP01 (Conf National) - STEP06 all have issued some or all of their season's fixtures; except the Wessex, and, as I said somewhere above, they jumped the gun a bit last year and ended up looking a bit silly. Should be out soon I'd expect......

First 'live' NL Saturday is actually the 6th Aug (same as RFC) but currently only the Combined Counties locally have a set of league matches that PM.
The rest all start 13th August apart from the ISTHMIAN/RYMAN who wait another week to the 20th - which is also the First Extra-Preliminary Rnd of the FA Cup.

The Hellenic seem to have ditched their much abhorred midweek start this season too.

Anyone trying to 'grab' a Guernsey away match in the Combined Counties - be forewarned that there's a probability these may have strange KO times to facilitate early return flights etc etc - the weekly Bulletins should keep this info bang up to date so I'll post on here as soon as I know where a forthcoming fixture is thus affected:

So for now, here are Saturday 6th August CCL Fixtures (for those of us not 'drawn' to the MadStad that day) :-

CCL Premier
Ash United v Wembley
Badshot Lea v Banstead Athletic
Colliers Wood United v Camberley Town
Cove v Epsom & Ewell
Farnham Town v Egham Town
Hanworth Villa v Croydon
Mole Valley SCR v Guildford City
Molesey v Horley Town
Raynes Park Vale v Dorking
Sandhurst Town v Chessington & Hook United
Windsor v South Park
CCL One
Bookham v Worcester Park
CB Hounslow United v Eversley
Farleigh Rovers v Bedfont Sports
Guernsey v Knaphill
Sheerwater v Feltham
South Kilburn v Cobham
Spelthorne Sports v Westfield
Staines Lammas v Hartley Wintney
Warlingham v Frimley Green

... I'll post Sat 13th games up much nearer the time BUT just as an advance warning the midweek games w/c Mon 8th include the following :

Tue 9th Aug
CCLP
Wembley v Windsor
CCL1
Hartley Wintney v Guernsey - this one might be awash with Anoraks! ...and may have an 'odd' KO time - will post when I know anything

Wed 10th Aug
CCLP
Guildford City v Sandhurst Town

So it starts. According to the Marlow manager Huddle let them for Windsor for better money.

Windsor will be playing home midweek fixtures on a Monday night this season.

Tomorrow (Saturday), they play Bracknell Town in a psf at Eton Town's pitch which has nothing in the way of facilities apart from a very old dressing room block. 3pm kick off. Great view of Windsor Castle btw.

Hartley Wintney v Guernsey shows a 7.30pm kick off time

Hartley Wintney v Guernsey shows a 7.30pm kick off time

...that's HW's standard MW KO time - as I wrote, the CCL info has come out this week suggesting that KO times for Guernsey matches Home and Away may be changed to suit travel plans, if both sides agree - would not imagine HW (or anyone else in NL for that matter) could be particularly flexible of a midweek though?

HW have a pretty neat website and a forum to keep up with any changes. :)

Comfortable 2-0 win for Windsor over Bracknell Town. Ben Hudell (with his right foot :o ) and Ryan O'Toole with the goals in the second half. Match abandoned with about 4 minutes left after a Golden Labrador ran on the pitch and knicked the match ball  Showed a great first touch as well!

No Step 4 or above tomorrow so all the action is in Steps 5 and below. I will not steal 4oC's thunder but I will highlight Windsor's first CCL Premier fixture at Stag Meadow against South Park. SP were promoted after finishing 3rd in Div 1 and also walked off with 2 trophies after cup wins. Could be an interesting game against an established side.

.... S'alright I think I 'rumbled' slightly a week or so back. 8)

South Park certainly are a progressive club and could be quite a test for Windsor.

Not sure if they have too many followers , though would expect a few sizeable away fans for some of this seasons CCLP visitors to Stag Meadow.

..... watched Chesham overrun Sluff this week, from their pre-season form they could be SLP contenders.

.... Will hope to start my NL campaign this MW - possibly @ Hartley W though the novelty factor of hosting Guernsey could swell the crowd beyond my own 'comfort' level.

Don't think there any other 'local' NL sides in league action tomorrow - probably a few decent PSFs if you select the right thread onthe nonleaguematters.co.uk forum.

Darren Caskey still rolling out - almost literally - for Ilkeston. This was the friendly in which the Mansfield manager took off all of his players after the Ilkeston player-coach had put three players in hospital

..fuller story was here (if it works) - sounds as if that guy had been on the Stella for a few hours beforehand!

http://www.chad.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootbal ... _1_3643720

...elsewhere yesterdays' 'proper' NL matches went as follows:
Combined Counties:
Premier

Ash United 2 v 2 Wembley
Badshot Lea 5 v 0 Banstead Athletic
Colliers Wood Utd 3 v 4 Camberley Town
Cove 1 v 2 Epsom & Ewell
Farnham Town 2 v 2 Egham Town
Hanworth Villa 4 v 0 Croydon F.C.
Mole Valley SCR 2 v 6 Guildford City
Molesey 2 v 3 Horley Town
Raynes Park Vale 2 v 0 Dorking
Sandhurst Town 3 v 0 Chessington & Hook
Windsor 1 v 1 South Park - by some accounts on CCL Fans Focus - SP were unlucky to only get one point out of the game. Don't know what the crowd was at Stag Meadow - might post after the Bulletin arrives later today.

Div One
Bookham 1 v 1 Worcester Park
CB Hounslow Utd 2 v 3 Eversley
Farleigh Rovers 0 v 2 Bedfont Sports
Guernsey 5 v 0 Knaphill attendance given as 1475 :o - this league hasn't seen crowds the like of this since the early days of AFC Wimbledon (2002/03) as they began their climb up and beyond the Pyramid - breaking all attendance records as they went. Guernsey visit Hartley Wintney, just down the road this coming Tuesday, - co-incidentally I was there back in the day when AFC were the visitors and the home side triumphed, 2-0 I think, in front of about 1400 - doubt if there'll be quite that many this week but should still be a big crowd, especially for a Midweek game in this division - which averages only around 40-50 on a good day.
Sheerwater 0 v 1 Feltham
South Kilburn 2 v 2 Cobham
Spelthorne Sports 1 v 2 Westfield
Staines Lammas 0 v 1 Hartley Wintney
Warlingham 0 v 0 Frimley Green

... haven't picked up many of the PSF scores around and about yet though RTFC drew 2-2 with AFC Dunstable at Scours yesterday.

South Park looked a far better balanced team and it would certainly not have been an injustice if they had wom comfortably but their finishing was pretty poor.

Windsor looked like a bunch of players who don't know each other very well which is exactly what they are I suppose. 2 injuries in the 1st half didn't help though.

Not that I know much / anything about the other CCL teams but from what people were saying yesterday I would imagine that South Park will be one of the challengers for promotion.

It was a pretty decent crowd - I'd have thought 180-200.
