Sonko post-injury was still better than Mills.

The Goat was fed They say you should never go back in Football...

Heart says - this is going to beautiful and emotional. You can tell that those players of the 2005/06 season know that they've never had it better than in the era. I was lucky enough to do some work with Graeme Murty the other week and he said that what made that team so successful is that every single player had the best two seasons of their careers...

Head says - Post injury Sonko was a liability. Kryptonite = knee injury.

Come on the heart!!

Trevor Senior and Adie Williams did ok when they came back.

Kitson & Little didn't - all they did was sully the memory a bit.

If it helps it along I'd just like to say SonLOLko.

How low have we sunk.

Poor effort, when you could have had 'IbROFLahima'.

Tbf, this does kind of confirm that RFC's transfer policy is the equivalent of knocking on people's doors and asking if they have any jumble :|

Could not really disagree with that assessment.

However, if the club really wanted to show some ambition I think we should look to buy Luke Chambers. Cardiff are now after him today - so with a year left on his contract Forest might sell at about 1.5 - 2M. I cannot see that we are so cash strapped that we could not go to that.

Assuming we want to buy him - players often train with their old clubs when they're out of contract, as a favour.

OS implies we are seriously considering a deal for Sonko.

Fair enough, I tend not to read the OS.

I agree he was terrible at Stoke and Hull but frankly he was terrible when he first signed for us. Then very quickly became superman. Hes the right fit, strong and athletic. Assuming he is now back to fitness its a sensible signing. If hes not the presumably we wouldn't sign him. Certainly he wants to play for us!

I'd like Sonko back tbh for emotional reasons but I remember some pretty poor shit from him in the relegation season.

Worst for me was when he gave a penalty away and got sent off in the New Years' Day game against Pompey. Penalty got saved but it fukked up the game for us.

I remember being all excited before the game, that happened and we said bye bye to an even game.

So mixed feelings I guess.

Agreed he was awful that day but he was returning from injury and Pompey were a good team then. This level would be far less challenging for him. Would like him as back up - but still think we should show some ambition at CB as well.

Sounds like Morrison is not ready yet reading between the lines so he probably needs to go out on loan. If so we need 2 more CB's at least.

Good fit. No club= no transfer fee. CB= we need. Will play for next to nothing= Yes please. He may not be what he once was but he is a defender on the cheap and can do a job at this level.

Sadly he's been pretty much awful in virtually every game since that day.

Buy? He's on trial with a view to a free transfer said someone who claimed to have got a text from the club.
