Ian Royal Yeah, I know. I was finerain baiting. Failure.

He wouldn't get in the Rangers team so its pure speculation that they are even being linked. He can go be backup for a champions league club or first team regular for a championship club, makes more sense to only move an hour away and play regular football, even if Rangers are interested.

I'd say too good for the Rangers team - probably would make the other players look bad, so Rangers decided against him.

There's a quote from Harry Redknapp on this now, so no longer a rumour.

Am I right in thinking Khumalo played a part in Preston's mini revival? Before picking up an injury prior to the wheels falling off again?

Apart from that world cup, where he looked fine, I know very little about him. I do know that Spurs considered him worth a chance, and that they don't want to let him go permanently. Must mean something.

Means nothing we have had players out on long term loan that never made it with us afterwards, it means he will get games though, if he is up to this level.

If by mini-revival we're talking about W2 D2 L2, then yes. Lost to us and Millwall (though he went off before HT v Millwall when they lost 4-0), drew with Pompey and Doncaster, beat Sheffield and Swansea.

I think this could turn out to be a very good signing.

No, it is either genuine delight or a mindless piece of braindead comment. I think I know which.
