I've had 30 years of RFC being a nothing club , and now , unless we buy the best team in the world , completely bankrupting JM , then we are nothing but a hopeless bunch of has-beens ... shut the FU, you 14 year old materialistic tossers !!!!

that's not the church of the latter-day saints BTW... I mean't Morons****

I'd say yes but it only takes a minute to read other clubs forums and you realise that it's just football fans in general.

Whatever knobhead, most fans are just passionate about their club. Most people are not suggesting buy the best team in the world, most people just want a small reinvestment from players sold.

Stop thinking your Mr Reading you tosser!!!

There are indeed a few spacktards in these forums. Like this one -

rfc2001 Whatever knobhead, most fans are just passionate about their club. Most people are not suggesting buy the best team in the world, most people just want a small reinvestment from players sold.

Stop thinking your Mr Reading you tosser!!!

Seems a lot of people joined the bandwagon after 05/06.

Every forum of every club is pretty similar in all honesty. Well the ones I've read anyway, Some justifiably more than others.

We're not the biggest prats, because we're at least realistic. The biggest prats in football are the fickle fans of the big clubs. For example, Newcastle fans with their "Go Home Cockneys" sign; Rangers and Celtic fans with their determination to undermine their own clubs with sectarian chanting; Liverpool fans with their belief in Dalglish as the messiah and their ugly refusal to give a chance to Hodgson and certain players; Villa fans with their unjustified sense of entitlement; then in this league there are Cardiff, Millwall, and Pompey fans with their barely suppressed violence.

Of course, the majority of fans of all clubs are similar to Reading's: everyday people who just want the best for their club. Like all clubs, we've always had a sprinkling of prats in the stands; but that's because there's a sprinkling of prats in humanity.

To be Fair , I was just reading something about Reading on "GETREADING" And I lost the plot.... I am SICK to the eyeballs of winging, the scale of which seems to be beyond all proportion to a club that was in the top flight for 2 seasons... anyone would think we were a cross between Juventus,Barcelona and Ajax

don't let Reading fans become the new Rangers/ManU/Chelsea/Saints Fans !

stamp out these idiots before It becomes too late

We are up there, but I wouldn't single us out. I would say just look at div 2 Swine Pox and Aldershite. They were our rivals when SJM took over the club. Mid table championship playing Leeds, West Ham, Soton, Pompey or trips to Accrington, Crawley and Burton.
I will let you decide.

No different to most other clubs fans at our level IMO.

Just a different perspective from different age groups. Many of us will remember days in the lower leagues very fondly and in a way long for some of those times back, unfortunately they could never be the same without Elm Park.

So in our shiny 24,000 seated stadium we have had to store those days lovingly in our memories and for the good of our club find a sensible balance between success and stability. IMO we are pretty much at this point now, it doesn't mean that we don't want more success, but not at any price!

We had 2 years in the top flight of what some may say is the best league in the world without having to gamble the future of our club, there are not many other clubs that can say this. Along the way we picked up many new fans who saw us as a premier league team and now that we are back in the championship see us as either under performing or not ambitious.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions on how things should be run and how much we should spend on anything from player transfers to the lawn mower that cuts the grass. Thankfully over the past 20 years there has only been one man who has the final say!
