You shouldn't be, I don't recall Reading signing too many players when they got promoted and it didn't turn out too badly. For a year anyway.

True enough but I don't think there's that much difference between a good Championship team and a shit Premier League one. Swansea could finish above teams like Blackburn and Wigan.

Perhaps.

soggy biscuit Sergio Aguero joins City for £38M

On a 5 year contract worth £52M.........no wonder other City players (Kompany, Richards and De Jong amongst them) who are all re-negotiating new deals want rather more than they have been offered so far.

Classic case of bring in a new "superstar" and watch dressing-room morale tumble.

PSG have stolen a march on Chelsea by completing a €43 million deal for midfielder Javier Pastore. While PSG boss Antoine Kombouare would not speculate on the deal, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini confirmed that the deal is done: "the deal closed on Friday night, the official transfer of Javier Pastore to Paris St Germain. I spoke with Leonardo, Saturday it will be official on the website"

Speculation that the player's agent was still negotiating with with Chelsea were denied by Zamparini "Chelsea made the offer but Javier had questions around André Villas-Boas and I advised him to go to PSG, they will become one of the best clubs in the world."

Qatar Investment Authority bought a controlling stake in the club two months ago, Pastore becomes their 6th signing

Urz were much stronger then (obv hence the 106) than us now.

Routledge looks like he's IN! Decent alternative / cover for Sinclair and Dyer.

New DMC still a key requirement.

Routledge is average to pap Premiership. Quality in the Championship tho. You really need a decent striker. Exciting times and all, but I can't see how you can stay up with that side m8.

Exa8tly m8. Enjoy it. It's the fire sale and re-org that follows that hurts. These are good times, enjoy them, you deserve 'em!

Has been ranting about Newcastle on Twitter all weekend and then said he would announce his future this afternoon on there. The club got in first and booted him out

How? Because he's their player and so they can.
What? A transfer for no money
Why? Pass

2 out of 3's not bad.
