TedBundy89 Have we decided that KEBEISTHEGREATEST is actually 1 Team in Berkshire?

If so the schooling must be working a little as his spelling has improved somewhat.

What happened to 1 Team in Berkshire? (assuming this isnt him)

Curtis Osano will resign for Reading

29 Jul 2011 08:44:57
Reading will keep Shane Long for the
first half of the season and then
offload him in the January tranfer
window due to his contract expiring
and the fact that Premier League
clubs panic buy in January and always
spend over the odds for players

This site should get its own TV show - it's ever so amusing to read the ramblings of what the human mind can invent during the course of a transfer window.

RUMOUR - Shane Long to West Ham

by KC Royal » 03 Aug 2011 11:00

Z175 According to daily mail today , Long has accepted Leicester and turned down Newcastle

Where did you get that from, it stays nothing of the sort.

One rumour i've just found.

02 Aug 2011 22:55:31
Shane Long has agreed a new two year contract at Reading FC and this is set to be announced before the Millwall game at the weekend.

The new contract comes with a £7.5m release clause, applicable to bids from teams from the Premiership only, and a verbal agreement with McDermott that the striker can leave in January for an agreed fee (believed to be lower than the above) if the club are not in the top 6.

Would be great news if true, would at least mean he's quite likely to play on Sat!

Tbh i'd be surprised if this happened for 2 reasons.

1) Sitting on West Brom's bench wouldn't do his international chances any favours.
2) Having let Hamer go i don't think we'd sell another keeper on top of that.

I'd be very surprised if it happened because of where this rumour came from. Is that why you didn't quote the source?

Googling Shane Long transfer rumours and finding a Reading transfer rumours page. It may be complete guff, but nice to see a positive rumour for a change!
