Royal Lady
West Stand Man I shan't be booing Fedr=erici on Saturday for 2 reasons;

1. I 'm a plastic - Season Ticket holder (so the club has my money for this one even if they don't have me).
2. I can't even spell his name correctly

 See what happens when you type fast and don't proof read before hitting send!

Big Foot I certainly haven't forgotten his "come and get me plea" on SSN last month and will be using 80% of my energy to boo him and the other 20% to remind him that England beat Australia in the Ashes.

Are we Arsenal in disguise? FFS, we retained the Ashes in December 2010. It is now August 2011. You really are a spactard.

I presume you will be booing Shane Long and John Madejski as they have both made it clear they want out.

er, and that's something to gloat about for 12 months, not one day.

i share no love for federici. he isn't as good as he thinks he is and i don't feel comfortable at all when he's in goal. the sooner he leaves the better as far as im concerned.

no need to boo. as soon as he drops one or two clangers the chants will be out for mccarthy to be number 1.

I won't be booing, purely for the reason that he's the best keeper we've got, only a fool would say otherwise.

We've got a potential theme day on our hands.
Everyone in favour of a good old fashion boo turn up in head to toe England cricket attire (box is optional) those against it, show up dressed as an Abo.

No wonder finely-crafted wummery is leaving the board in droves when this kind of transparency gets the chompers biting like piranhas.

Still way better than Kes though.

Svlad Cjelli
georgerob ...... Also Federici should be the number 1 goalkeeper as he is much more experienced than McCarthy .....

So how does a potentially better 'keeper get experience?

In terms of 1st team playing experience then McCarthy isn't actually that far behind Federici. He's well ahead of where Federici was when he took over from Hahnemann as our number 1, in terms of games that is.

Where Federici has the edge is being involved in the first team and all the preperation, expectations and pressure that go with it. Knowing how to deal with that probably counts for as much as the difference between 20 and 50 games on the pitch.

Do you still wear that Helly Hansen jacket? Are you trying to become the new Paul Black?

Bandini
Yorkshire Royal But we are certain the booing helped right?

We just didn't boo enough.

Shane Long's career progression shows the benefits of motivational booing beyond any sensible doubt.

Irrefutable proof I would say.

Feds could let in a dozen goals a game.....sign for Swindon,Oxford and Chelsea all simultaneously.....but for that goal against Cardiff....he will never be booed by me.
