I don't know what you said Ian but I'm sure it was as dull as usual.

sandman I was at the game. Why did he have a free header? Where was his Marker? Anyone that isn't blinkered and recognises that both McCarthy and Federici are two of the best in this division knows that Alex Pearce was at least partly responsible for that goal.

If you're going to get all high and mighty about it try and at least get your facts straight.

The reason Pearce looked surprised that Henderson appeared behind him unmarked was because Harte was picking him and let him go.

So at the start of the day the players come in and the manager says to the full back "Don't worry about their winger you mark the Centre forward and the CB can stand around doing nothing."

Is that the best you can do?

Depending where the ball is and where the opposition players move it will be different players responsibility to pick up yes. As a fullback part of your job is to defend the back post and cover the centre half.

Harte was marking Henderson when the ball dropped to Henry. Pearce was covering the other forward (or attempting to at least). The reason Henderson had a free header was because Harte let Henderson go. If your going to pick up on errors and have a go a people for only criticising their favourites then perhaps you should start with your own take on things.

Sandman you have clearly never played football or you would have known that at different times during a game different people mark different players.
