floyd__streete Royal Rother I don't mind a bit of misplaced over-optimistic smugness after a win, but when a defeat brings out "told you so" smugness it really seems time to question people's state of mind. It's an odd way of dealing with disappointment.
It's called a 'discussion' m8, it's just that you don't like most of the very fairly raised points that are coming up. Once again I ask, were you there? If you don't put up then you should definitely shut up.
Why?
I follow the fortunes of the club closely but choose not to go to games for reasons I have given many times. Like it or not that makes me far better placed to take a dispassionate view of the situation. And believe it or not, a couple of narrow defeats out of 4 games is not a good reason for despondency.
The team has to readjust after losing 2 key players just as it had to adjust and evolve after losing Gylfi. It took time but people stepped up last season and the same will happen this season. But that evolution needs time to happen again.
As for fairly raised points - well, to my mind "Where's the money gone", and "We need new players" type discussions are absolutely pointless at this time and disrespectful to the club's ethos and its managerial and playing staff.
FFS, 4 games in - give them a chance to adapt and grow. It took some time but Long showed what patience and faith could produce. Surely it's too early to forget that message.
