According to Wiki:

"In September 2010, he signed a two year extension with Queens Park Rangers."

Couple of QPR fans on their board reluctant to see him go.

RL - I think that any price paid for him will be a reflection of Reading's and QPR's valuations of him and the two clubs' respective negotiating positions.

Yes.

Is it a surprise that a contracted player costs more after they've romped a league title than they did before?

The deal is done. If you sign up for text alerts, watch your 'phones, assuming medical goes well.
Hopefully get another defender as well!!

I couldn't find anything about a contract extension - so thanks SBers.

My point, previous to seeing that, was OF COURSE, whether if he'd RECENTLY signed an extension to his contract, QPR could ask more for him. But I expect Bandini realises that and is just continuing his usual habit of belittling everything I say.

Not sure, but I think he got me a fair few points on my fantasy football team last year.

Focher Gorkks, Robinson, Killgallon.

2/3 would see us back on track to break the 106 record this season.

Oh, you must have missed the memo, we sold Shane Long

I would love a few grams of what he's been having.

You add two decent strikers and you might, just might have a top six outfit this season.

Plugging the gap is one thing but without the goals at the other end we're still mid-table side.

From my QPR-obsessed m8

I like Kaspars Gorkks ( a FB friend of mine! Lol). He has the ability but sometimes his confidence goes. One thing he isn't good at it long passes to midfielders he can sometimes just lump it forward (that might be NW style he wants though). He can score a few goals from set plays, I would be disappointed if we let him go nut i guess he won't play in front of Gabbidon and Hall but should be next in line definitely.

He isn't the quickest centre half but good enough for any championship top half side

Yes he would be very good for you and as I said i don't want him to leave us.

I trust that this bloke knows QPR players and Champ football, as a whole, inside out. Good recommendation.

Good signing. Ol Kaspars Norks.

Johnny 'Andy' Fordham beleives Ding not looking for a striker. Alarm Bells. Sign a striker who is good and Ding would be top 10.

QPR fans in my office love him - never puts a foot wrong and is big and strong, but composed in position.

Dare I say it...great signing.
