Eastleigh have agreed an initial month’s loan deal for Reading teenager Frankie Raymond and intend throwing him straight into tonight’s friendly against a Saints XI at the Silverlake Stadium (7.45pm).

Good good, he's one that Eamonn Dolan has mentioned as we should keep an eye on. Hope it goes well for him.

He got in a goalscoring position

He's clearly improving.

Unmarked, far post, edge of six yard box. Headed wide by about 2 yards.

RFC not happy with Aldershot for not playing Jake Taylor. Came on for last 15 mins yesterday, but didn't feature at all in the first game.

Hopefully, he will get some game time otherwise it will look like another non-league player's dreams go up in smoke

Didn't get alot of opportunities there unfortunately. Started against West Ham but was taken off after half time. Ah well, not all loans work out well.

I've always thought a months loan is not enough time, to settle into a side. But there we are, at least he got a few more games under his belt, he's playing out in Montenegro Friday for the Welsh Under 21's.

Frankie Raymond has returned to Reading after his loan spell at Eastleigh. He was sent off for a head butt on August 20th in his fourth match for them, picked up a three match ban and didn't regain his place in the side after that ended. Eastleigh have decided not to extend his loan.

And so a legend is born.

Mad Frankie Raymond!
